1:16 p.m. – A woman from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported finding two hypodermic needles and requested extra patrols.

3:03 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of St. John’s Drive reported finding possible drug paraphernalia. It was found to be part of a broken fishing pole.

3:19 p.m. – A woman reported a hit and run accident by a motorcycle this morning on Highway 20 and Empire Street.

5:07 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported a plaque was stolen from a front yard.

5:19 p.m. – A caller from Mill and South Church streets reported a man possibly smoking marijuana in the alley.

5:20 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Florence Avenue reported a man drove up and was honking his horn, then seemed to be passed out in the vehicle and then in the yard. He left before officers arrived.

8:13 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Litton Drive reported a possible homeless camp. A woman was advised she could not camp within city limits.

8:54 p.m. – A man from a business on Nevada City Highway reported his son bought food that appeared to be contaminated.

9:11 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of McKnight Way reported the theft of a purse.

9:38 a.m. – A caller from the 18000 block of Starduster Lane reported a fraudulent charge for $60 on a credit card.

10 a.m. – A woman from a business in the 10000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported $253.20 was stolen from an office, money that was intended for the donut delivery service. She would investigate by viewing the security video.

10:42 a.m. – A man from the 10000 block of Dow Road reported his neighbor was yelling that he wants to die. He said his neighbor yells like this often.

10:58 a.m. – A woman from Lilac Court reported a man was living in a bus in front of her neighbor’s residence and she keeps finding hypodermic needles around the property.

11:39 a.m. – A woman from the 13000 block of Strawberry Circle reported a man called her and told her he had a $2 million check waiting for her and wanted her to send him a check. She did not do so.

12:41 p.m. – A caller from Hells Half Acre reported an elaborate transient camp.

2:19 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of East Bennett Road reported special-ed buses had been broken into and personal items were taken.

2:54 p.m. – A man from the 12000 block of Lime Kiln Road reported his estranged wife tried to throw a deep fryer at him. It was off and the oil was cold. She also struck a female friend of his. The woman called and reported her husband poured oil on her and hit her. Neither party wanted to press charges.

2:57 p.m. – A caller from the 15000 block of Sunnyvale Lane reported checking account fraud.

4:19 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Adam Avenue reported a man lying in the ditch. He said he was OK, just tired, then left. A second caller reported a man who possibly was very drunk and falling down. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

7:10 p.m. – A woman from Alexander Street reported juveniles were running around on the deck of a residence. Four juveniles were admonished for trespassing.
