Monday – 76 calls for service

7:36 a.m. – A caller from the 2400 block of Ridge Road reported the theft of tools.



10:57 a.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported the theft of items from a vehicle, including a navigation system, CDs, a wallet and a bag of diabetic equipment.

11:53 a.m. – A man from the 300 block of Mill Street reported being assaulted by a man, but did not need medical attention.




12:33 p.m. – A caller from Sutton Way and Dorsey Drive reported an elderly man driving and running stop signs.

1:30 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Lidster Avenue reported a neighbor was burning trash in a stove that was producing toxic smoke.

3:09 p.m. – A caller from a business on South Auburn Street reported the theft of items.

4:12 p.m. – A caller from a business in the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported two shoplifters, who were cited and released.

4:17 p.m. – A caller from a business in the 500 block of Mill Street reported a customer left behind a bag of marijuana. It was collected for destruction.

5:02 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Ocean Avenue reported a theft from a vehicle last night.

11:31 p.m. – A caller from Colfax Avenue reported two men going through garbage behind a business. At 11:43 p.m., the caller reported they were back and were throwing trash over a fence. They agreed to clean the garbage up.

Tuesday

12:20 a.m. – A caller from East Main Street reported a business was doing construction and running power tools. They agreed to pack it in for the night.

12:53 a.m. – A caller from the 200 block of South School Street reported yelling and a vehicle speeding. The people yelling were trying to catch a person who was stealing gas from a vehicle.

Monday – 77 calls for service

8:03 a.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Auburn Road reported vandalism to a golf course.

9:45 a.m. – A man from the 18000 block of Gai Road reported a former friend was sending him letters, demanding money regarding an abandoned trailer. It was found to be a civil issue.

10:07 a.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported possible fraud about a government grant.

10:43 a.m. – A woman from the 11000 block of Lake Wildwood Drive reported an assault by a neighbor. It was a verbal argument only.

11:15 a.m. – A caller from the 18000 block of Biladeau Lane reported the theft of a radio.

11:51 a.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Shamrock Lode reported a physical fight. A man defended himself and threw a woman off, and she now had a cut on her forehead. The woman had been choking and hitting two people, who were afraid to call for help.

12 p.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Lower Circle Drive reported the theft of gasoline from a vehicle overnight.

12:23 p.m. – A man from the 11000 block of Ball Road reported an attempted burglary, with screens removed from the windows.

3:41 p.m. – A caller from the 16000 block of Clover Valley Road reported ballots had been taken from a mailbox.

4:42 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Sierra Drive reported fraudulent activity on an ATM card.

5:16 p.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Rattlesnake Road reported a juvenile had vandalized a vehicle.

6:26 p.m. – A caller from the 17000 block of Shelter Court reported a man shot a 9-year-old girl in the stomach with a BB gun. It was found to have been an AirSoft gun.

6:51 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Henson Way reported a man driving an SUV stopped and took the caller’s cat, which was sitting in the driveway.

8:29 p.m. – A man from the 11000 block of Horton Street reported people were trying to get in his residence. He called back to say they were TP-ing the residence.

11:20 p.m. – A woman from the 13000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported her husband grabbed her face during an argument, but she didn’t need medical attention.

Tuesday

3 a.m. – A man from the 16000 block of Vandevere Road reported his girlfriend had been drinking and had assaulted him several times. She was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.

4:54 a.m. – A caller from the 23000 block of La Costa Court reported as possible prowler. No one was located.

Monday – 15 calls for service

1:04 p.m. – A caller from a business in the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a man was ranting and raving, and had been holding an open beer. He was gone when officers arrived.

Tuesday

7:42 a.m. – A caller from Gold Run School reported vandalism by skateboarders.
