Thursday – 80 calls for service
9:51 a.m. – A man from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported that he was in the restroom when a man who seemed “off” looked over the stall and said he wanted his bag back in an aggressive manner. He did it again when the caller came out of the stall, then left.
10:56 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported seeing a small red compact vehicle with the passenger seat filled with marijuana.
2:14 p.m. – A caller from East Main Street reported a woman pulled out in front of the caller, then got out of her vehicle and made threats.
3:53 p.m. – A caller from Condon Park reported hearing a gun shot.
7:04 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Chester Street reported a vehicle had rolled down the street and was now blocked with rocks under the tires.
7:24 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Litton Drive reported skateboarders on a shipping dock.
8:07 p.m. – A caller from a business on Sutton Way reported a possible alcohol purchase by minors.
8:12 p.m. – A caller from Empire Street reported a man passed out in the bushes. He had been drinking and was on his way home.
10:20 p.m. – A caller from a business in the 600 block of South Auburn Street reported a woman throwing items on the floor. She was advised not to return.
Thursday – 66 calls for service
8:46 a.m. – A woman from the 23000 block of Hydraulic Way reported her brother vandalized her room and her daughter’s room. The situation was mediated.
9:45 a.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported the theft of five marijuana plants.
11 a.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Sunrise Lane reported a dog killing a chicken.
11:04 a.m. – A woman from the 29000 block of Highway 49 reported getting into an argument with a person who had stolen items from her parents in the past. She said that during the argument, the suspect hit her numerous times in the face. The fight then started up again later and the suspect hit her in the face four more times. She then punched the suspect in the face once before bystanders broke up the fight. A witness said the fight looked mutual.
11:41 a.m. – A woman from Willow Valley Road reported a man was following her.
1:27 p.m. – A sick cow was reported in the 12000 block of Hutto Road. The cows were taken to the animal shelter.
2:32 p.m. – A woman from the 24000 block of Green Valley Road reported her mother stole her dog. The situation was mediated.
2:56 p.m. – A caller from Torrey Pines Drive reported seven to nine teens smoking marijuana. No evidence of marijuana was found.
4:37 p.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Highway 174 reported two juveniles were smashing a pole into a light fixture.
5:39 p.m. – A caller from McCourtney Road and Griffith Drive reported a man standing on the road holding a shotgun. He could not be located.
7:40 p.m. – A man from the 12000 block of Loma Rica Drive reported someone in a black vehicle knocked down mailboxes last night and he just saw the same vehicle.
11:34 p.m. – A woman from Penn Valley Drive reported her 16-year-old daughter had run away to the Bay Area with a person she met on the Internet. She was located and returned home.
1:02 a.m. – A caller from Buckeye Road reported shooting.
2:07 a.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Dogwood Road reported a vehicle accident. The driver said his brakes had failed and the passenger was injured.
Thursday – 14 calls for service
8:31 a.m. – A caller from Coyote Street and Highway 49 reported an 11-year-old boy rides his scooter from Harmony Ridge Road every day to school in Nevada City. He could not be located.
10:01 a.m. – A caller from a business in the 400 block of Hollow Way reported a person tampered with a pump during the night, possibly to fish information from ATM cards.
11:30 a.m. – A caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported four boys and a girl with sleeping bags were causing a disturbance, yelling profanities and asking people for money. They were gone when officers arrived.
1:09 p.m. – A woman from the 800 block of Zion Street reported a person stole her ID.
6:07 p.m. – A caller from the 400 block of Nimrod Street reported a man and woman in a truck talking about getting high and buying pills.
