Police blotter: Multiple reports of vandalism to Nevada City, Grass Valley

Monday

7:40 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of East Main Street reported vandalism to a business window.



8:39 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Race Street reported a man stealing chestnuts, who could not be located.

9 a.m. — A woman from the 500 block of Crown Point Circle reported the theft of gas from a vehicle and the cutting of gas lines to a vehicle.




9:09 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Crown Point Circle reported a vehicle was vandalized.

10:53 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported mail fraud and possible identity theft.

11:38 a.m. — A man from the 1000 block of Whispering Pines Lane reported a vehicle had been broken into with multiple items taken.

1:07 p.m. — A man from the 100 block of South School Street reported vandalism to a bicycle.

1:43 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported several people stole an item, and one was panhandling outside the business.

5:04 p.m. — A man from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported a woman stole money from him, but he did not want to file a report.

8:35 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of 15 anti-anxiety pills.

Tuesday

1:53 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of West Main Street reported the theft of an iPad.

3:18 a.m. — A vehicle in the 300 block of Crown Point Circle was found with a cut fuel line.

3:36 a.m. — Another vehicle with a cut fuel line was located in the 1000 block of Whispering Pines Lane.

8:18 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Sunfish Court reported burglary to vehicles.

8:56 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Wet Hill Road reported identity theft.

10:43 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Paradise Drive reported annoying phone calls related to a phone scam.

1:44 p.m. — A caller from Lake Lane and Gaston Drive reported a fire at the inlet near Cascade Shores.

2:36 p.m. — A caller from the 26000 block of Highway 20 reported an illegal campsite.

3:06 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of Potlicker Road reported he was blowing leaves off his roof and blew the ladder off the roof.

3:20 p.m. — A caller from Red Dog and Pasquale roads reported a tree leaning against power lines.

3:45 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Rock Creek Road reported an injured deer that coyotes were trying to get at; it was dispatched.

6:56 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 reported a juvenile assaulted another juvenile; the suspect was cited.

4:57 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Foxtail Drive reported the theft of a GPS.

5:23 p.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Bartlett Drive reported a vehicle rollover.

5:28 p.m. — A man from the 17000 block of Chaparral Drive reported items were taken from a house.

5:55 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Hard Rock Road reported a power pole was smoking and sparking.

6”05 p.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Odyssey Way reported a two-vehicle accident.

6:45 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of McCourtney Road reported a truck driver purposefully tried to run over Canada geese.

8:05 p.m. — A caller reported a theft.

10:37 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Washington Road reported a vehicle hit the side wall and then hit the mountain, blocking the road. Two were injured and a white German shepherd was ejected and could not be located.

5:54 p.m. — A caller from Old Downieville Highway reported the theft of a laptop.

5:57 p.m. — A caller from Spring Street reported the theft of a purse from an unlocked vehicle.

Saturday

1:45 a.m. — A caller from Searls Avenue and King Hiram Drive reported someone rolled a tire down the hill and knocked down a stop sign.

3:06 a.m. — A caller from Zion Street reported a loud party.

10:09 a.m. — A caller from Searls and Walrath avenues reported several mailboxes had been damaged.

8 p.m. — A caller from Searls Avenue and Sacramento Street reported a campsite.

11:57 p.m. — A caller from Broad Street reported people smoking marijuana; a person was cited.

Sunday

12:46 a.m. — A caller from Spring Street reported loud music.

3:06 p.m. — A caller from the emergency room reported a person had been hit by a vehicle the night before.

8:55 a.m. — A caller from Searls Avenue reported vandalism to a sign.

11:20 a.m. — A caller from Searls Avenue reported vandalism to a school.

3:26 p.m. — A man from Railroad Avenue reported a supervisor pulled a knife on him and threatened him.

4:06 p.m. — A caller from Jordan Street reported a theft.

4:47 p.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported a man just urinated in a garage. He was gone when an officer arrived.
