Police blotter: Multiple fights reported

Tuesday

9:40 a.m. — A caller reported identity theft with fraudulent charges on a bank statement.



9:49 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West Main Street reported vandalism.

10:53 a.m. — A woman from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of about $85 from a purse that was left in a room.




1:01 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported a woman hitting a child.

2:48 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 600 block of East Main Street reported finding a huge bag of marijuana in a towed vehicle.

3:02 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Race Street reported someone took the license plate off a motorcycle.

3:15 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a man shoplifted batteries.

3:17 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported people smoking, drinking and leaving trash all over the place after hours.

4:08 p.m. — A caller from Neal Street reported people in Elisabeth Daniels Park drinking alcohol; a person was cited.

4:22 p.m. — A woman from the 1200 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of an ID.

5:18 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Sutton Way reported a woman shoplifted items, which were returned.

5:49 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Brunswick Road reported a motorcycle driving more than 100 mph.

9:39 p.m. — A caller from Chapel and South Church streets reported two people in the cemetery with flashlights. They could not be located.

10:43 p.m. — A caller from the 1800 block of East Main Street reported a drunken driver at the drive-through window. A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving without a license and violating probation.

4:45 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Berryhill Drive reported a neighbor just urinated in the caller’s yard.

Tuesday

8:53 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Burlington Way reported a man screaming and yelling that he has a gun and wants to kill someone, and pacing up and down. At 10:45 p.m., a caller reported a person yelling and possible gunshots. The man then was outside, screaming and throwing up. He was coming off prescription medication.

9:58 a.m. — A caller form the 10000 block of Grinding Rock Drive reported bank fraud.

1:16 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Curtis Lane reported a theft.

1:18 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of North Ponderosa Way reported trespassers.

1:32 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Woodacre Road reported possible horse neglect.

1:45 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Street reported 10 to 15 people in a physical fight, throwing things at each other.

2:11 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Quail Creek Road reported a woman was throwing items and had punched another woman in the face.

5:02 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Oak Tree Road reported a drunken woman in the road trying to fight people and trying to get hit by cars. She was arrested on outstanding warrants.

5:28 p.m. — A caller from Duggans and Lime Kiln roads reported a starving horse; it was a hospice horse under a vet’s care.

8:08 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Highway 20 reported trespassing mountain bikers.

9:21 p.m. — A caller from Lake Englebright reported six or seven dogs chasing campers.

10:26 p.m. — A caller from Havlan Lane reported dogs barking for hours and music blaring from a garage.

4:51 a.m. — A caller from the jail reported finding heroin on an inmate.

Tuesday

12:47 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Church Street reported vandalism.

5:54 p.m. — A caller reported a burglary in the 400 block of Main Street with squatters writing checks on a man’s account.

5:59 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Nimrod Street reported the theft of a cell phone at Pioneer Park.

8 p.m. — A caller from Broad and North Pine streets reported people spraying graffiti on the sidewalk and street. It was chalk and they were admonished.

9:32 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a physical fight involving racial issues. A person was cited on suspicion of battery.

10:24 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Nimrod Street reported a screaming woman for 45 minutes. She was admonished.

Wednesday

6:25 a.m. — A person sleeping on a bench in the 300 block of Broad Street was advised to move on.
