Police blotter: Multiple fair fights reported

Wednesday

8:48 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of South School Street reported the theft of a bicycle.



12:47 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 1200 block of East Main Street reported a guest was possibly drunk and wouldn’t get out of bed to leave. He was leaving with his daughter.

12:52 p.m. — A woman from Leahy Road reported a man ran through her property; he was gone when an officer arrived.




3:58 p.m. — A caller from Tinloy and Bank streets reported a woman banging her head against the bus shelter.

4:47 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Sierra College Drive reported an out of control older man fighting with staff. He was taken to the hospital.

6:29 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported juveniles smoking drugs, who were gone when an officer arrived.

Thursday

12:56 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Pine Street reported a physical fight; they were just yelling at each other.

6:35 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Sutton Way reported a man pulled a knife on another person; a report was taken.

6:50 a.m. — A caller form the 100 block of Crown Point Court reported the theft of music from an unlocked vehicle.

8:19 a.m. — A caller from Woodpecker Way reported the theft of three large trees that were cut down on land trust property.

8:31 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of North Ponderosa Way reported the theft of gas and other items.

8:36 a.m. — A caller from Penn Valley reported an assault on a girl over the weekend.

9:21 a.m. — A caller requested a welfare check on a goat, a horse and two sheep on Daniels Way and East Lime Kiln Road.

9:22 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Lower Circle Drive reported a possible scam call.

10:08 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Caroline Lane reported the theft of mail.

3:28 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Campbell Loop reported the theft of items.

4:32 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Bitney Springs Road reported a trailer on fire.

6:54 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Bissell Place reported a juvenile assaulted a staff member.

6:57 p.m. — A caller form the fairgrounds reported a fight by the Scrambler.

8:49 p.m. — A caller from the fairgrounds reported a person throwing rocks at kids.

9:30 p.m. — A fight was reported at the Ferris wheel at the fair.

11:33 p.m. — A man reported a person punched him at the fairgrounds, but he did not need medical attention. It was mutual combat and no report was requested.

11:43 p.m. — A woman from the 21000 block of Running Horse Road reported the theft of gemstones.

Thursday

1:03 a.m. — Multiple callers from the 10000 block of School Street and Oak Tree Road reported gunfire or fireworks. Nothing was located.

7:24 a.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Shangrila Lane reported an injured buzzard under his deck.

1:31 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported a shoplifter fled a store and was being pursued by employees.

2:46 p.m. — A caller from Calanan Park reported people smoking marijuana.

6:03 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Grove Street reported a broken sewer line was going into Deer Creek.

11:54 p.m. — A caller from Coyote Street reported an attempted vehicle theft.

6:25 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported someone cut the fuel line on a motorcycle.

Sunday

2:21 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported 10 people in a physical fight.

2:54 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported loud music and men yelling in the street.

Monday

9:17 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported vandalism.

10:47 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 200 block of Lower Grass Valley Road reported the theft of two tires.

Wednesday

10:37 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported the theft of a MacBook.

12:17 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Nimrod Street reported the theft of two bicycles.

1:43 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported a man just urinated on a tree in front of a store; he was gone when an officer arrived.

3:45 p.m. — A caller from Searls Avenue and Argall Way reported people in a vehicle smoking pot and swerving. They were gone when an officer arrived.

11:26 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a physical fight involving 12 people. A man hit a woman and someone got pushed to the ground. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating probation.
