Police Blotter: March 9, 2010
11:32 a.m. – A caller from Castlemont Drive reported solicitors going door to door selling carpet-cleaning services without a permit. At 5:16 p.m., a caller from Scotia Pines Drive made a similar report.
1:22 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of North School Street reported finding brass knuckles.
2:28 p.m. – A caller from Memorial Park reported seeing a syringe.
2:58 p.m. – A caller from a business on South Auburn Street reported a man solicited a teen. No crime was found and the man was told not to return.
8:59 p.m. – A caller from Penstock Drive reported a vehicle driving slowly and taking pictures, and requested extra patrols.
12:27 a.m. – A man from the 200 block of South School Street reported a man possibly doing construction, dropping tools. He agreed to keep it down.
10:43 a.m. – A caller from the 15000 block of Thiel Way reported a pit bull attacking a person. The person was not bitten.
12:08 p.m. – A caller from Lowell Hill Road reported two vehicles were trespassing. A person was arrested on out-of-county warrants.
12:59 p.m. – A woman from the 10000 block of Westhill Road reported her boyfriend was just assaulted and went to the emergency room.
1:34 p.m. – A man from the 19000 block of Kneebone Court reported he killed a possibly rabid raccoon.
2:08 p.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Hanley Drive reported a physical fight and was screaming that the caller’s uncle was trying to beat up the caller’s mother. The man was arrested on suspicion of battery and threatening a crime.
2:37 p.m. – A caller from Highway 20 and Penn Valley Drive reported two cows in the road.
3:18 p.m. – A caller from Buckeye and Greenhorn Creek reported people on dirt bikes shooting guns.
4:05 p.m. – A man from the 13000 block of Crawford Lane reported a physical fight.
5:31 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Wheeler Acres Road reported a vehicle had been burglarized.
7:46 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Crooked Arrow Lane reported hearing gunfire.
9:51 p.m. – A caller from Highway 20 and Pleasant Valley Road reported a woman in and out of the road yelling and screaming.
10 p.m. – A woman from the 23000 block of Hickory Way reported her daughter was out of control and hit her on the forehead. She did not need medical attention and did not want criminal charges.
3:10 a.m. – A man from the 17000 block of Lasso Loop reported someone stole gasoline and a gas cap from a truck.
8:18 p.m. – A man from the 400 block of South Pine Street reported a person was pushing his daughter around. She did not need medical attention.
