Police Blotter: March 30, 2010
10:42 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Mourning Dove Lane reported eggs had been thrown at a residence. There was no permanent damage.
4:19 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Lloyd Street reported a group of teens in a dispute. No charges were desired for a pushing incident.
5:57 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a man stole a camera.
7:12 p.m. – A caller from a business on Plaza Drive reported five people in a vehicle took $62 worth of food without paying.
8:14 p.m. – A man from the 200 block of South School Street reported a neighbor’s dog was barking again and he couldn’t stand the noise so he had turned up his music.
8:42 p.m. – A caller from Nevada City Highway reported a dispute between the occupants of two vehicles. One person said he had a gun, but no weapon was seen. A second caller reported being assaulted but did not want medical attention.
8:54 p.m. – A caller from Nevada City Highway reported people in a vehicle were yelling and gesturing at him. They were admonished.
12:21 a.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a woman screaming and swearing. It was quiet when officers arrived.
9:53 a.m. – A caller from Steep Hollow Creek reported 14 ATVs on private property and shooting in the area.
11:03 a.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Mooney Flat Road reported the theft of a chain that was blocking an access road.
11:55 a.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Silver Way reported the theft of a wallet from a residence.
12:10 p.m. – A caller from Angelwood Road reported a dog bite that occurred yesterday.
1:22 p.m. – A man from the 19000 block of Valley Vista Way reported his ex-wife possibly was breaking in to a residence.
4:22 p.m. – A caller from the 23000 block of Baker Court reported creek monitoring equipment had been vandalized.
4:24 p.m. – A caller from Highway 49 and Ivey Lane reported people in multiple pickups shooting guns since 2 p.m.
5:08 p.m. – A caller from Highway 49 and Brewer Road reported a boy at the bus stop for two hours. He said he was on “self time-out.”
5:40 p.m. – A woman from the 10000 block of Timberland Drive reported a man came by yesterday collecting for chef school in London. The woman said she and her neighbor both contributed and now she feels that it was a scam.
7:01 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Magnolia Road reported the community mailbox had been broken into.
7:57 p.m. – A woman from the 17000 block of Sunrise Road reported a person punched her in the back.
11:48 p.m. – A caller from Fish & Game requested an assist for a large bear eating trash. A man was stuck in the garage, unable to leave, as the bear was between the house and garage.
10:48 a.m. – A man from the 300 block of Woodpecker Lane reported a person fundraising for a college trip.
12:56 p.m. – A caller from the 800 block of Zion Street reported a vehicle hit a bicycle and left the scene. The caller did not need medical attention.
3:43 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Nevada Street reported a woman came to the door selling books and said she was raising money for a college trip. The caller wrote a check and then suspected it was a scam and canceled the check.
