Police blotter: Man reports teenage girl won’t listen to him

Wednesday

7:51 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Maiden Lane reported a suspicious man who walked into an open garage.



11:36 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man drinking a Corona in a parked vehicle.

1:36 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Golden Gate Terrace reported transients leaving trash and urine-soaked items around the building, and requested extra patrols.




2:47 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported customers inside an abandoned business, looking for their belongings.

3:09 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a dog locked in a vehicle; the owner was cited.

3:33 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported a person passed out in the driveway. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

7:53 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported a man named Turtle trying to break into a bus. He was moving on.

8:17 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of East Main Street reported a man tried to burglarize a vehicle and left when confronted. He was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia.

11:53 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported a man was lurking and looking in sliding glass windows. He could not be located.

1:40 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported two people outside a bedroom window, who could not be located.

10:32 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Zinfandel Lane reported possible fraudulent activity.

10:33 a.m. — A caller from the emergency room reported an assault victim from Judith Court.

12:54 p.m. — A caller reported receiving annoying phone calls after leaving a one-star review for a local business.

2:59 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Alice Moody Drive reported fraudulent charges on a phone account.

3:02 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Sycamore Court reported a dog versus dog attack.

3:11 p.m. — A caller from Tyler-Foote Crossing and Murphy roads reported a man crawling out of a vehicle that was on its side.

3:21 p.m. — A man from the 12000 block of Roadrunner Drive reported $665 was taken out of his bank account.

3:38 p.m. — A caller from Lake of the Pines reported an attempted burglary with someone trying to steal kayaks from a park.

4:33 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported attempted murder, mayhem and arson.

4:47 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Jasper Agate Court reported the theft of keys from a residence.

5:28 p.m. — A caller from Tom Ray Drive reported a neighbor shouting obscenities and shooting a firearm to annoy them.

7:14 p.m. — A caller from Jasper Mine reported a vacant cabin had been shot up and the door was torn off a workshop.

7:20 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 reported a runaway juvenile with a homemade shank and broken glass. A BOLO was issued.

7:32 p.m. — A woman from Loma Rica Drive reported broken windows on gazebos and benches thrown into a pond.

8:29 p.m. — A woman from the 19000 block of Last Mile Drive reported a physical fight regarding an easement. She said she slapped a man to get him away from her. He said he went to her residence to admonish her about speeding, and she scratched him in the face. The situation was mediated.

8:59 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Elnora Drive reported power lines down.

Wednesday

1:44 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported a physical fight involving a shoplifter. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating probation, shoplifting and providing a false name.

4:05 p.m. — A caller from Broad and Sacramento streets reported an intoxicated elderly man stumbling in the road, with his head bleeding, carrying a vodka bottle. He was taken to the hospital and then arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

8:07 p.m. — A man reported his teenage daughter was not listening to him. She went to bed.
