Police blotter: Man reports patch pirates

Tuesday

8:32 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Park Avenue reported a physical fight with items being thrown at the walls.



9:30 a.m. — A caller from Bell Hill School reported a stolen iPad.

9:47 a.m. — A man from the 800 block of Old Tunnel Road reported damage to his vehicle.




11:21 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of Bawden Avenue reported the theft of a cell phone from an unlocked vehicle.

11:32 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported an aggressive dog attacking another dog.

12:37 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported a person impersonated staff to get power turned on at a residence.

2:20 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man and a woman shoplifted items.

2:58 p.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of East Main Street reported transients camping in a vacant building.

4:07 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Sutton Way reported a man shoplifted.

6 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a very large cloud of smoke from people smoking marijuana.

6:21 p.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a woman shoplifted from a store.

7:03 p.m. — A man reported an assault, which was found to have been mutual combat.

Tuesday

10:51 a.m. — A woman from the 16000 block of Coleman Lane reported a cow had been shot.

12:28 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported the possible theft of a motorcycle.

2:18 p.m. — A woman from the 19000 block of Frails Trail reported vandalism to a rental unit.

5:54 p.m. — A man from the 12000 block of Somerset Drive reported someone opened a bank account in his name.

6:04 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Perimeter Road reported a trespasser.

9:27 p.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Oak Drive reported a man invited her over and then tried to use a Taser on her, and punched her. She was arrested on suspicion of battery.

11:30 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported a person came in his residence through an unlocked door, then left.

Wednesday

12:25 a.m. — A deputy was dispatched to an alarm on Alta Street, and a report was taken for burglary and theft.

2:48 a.m. — A man from Ryans Ranch and Manion Canyon roads reported someone had chased him from his trailer and was trying to shoot him, and that he was hiding in the bushes. Three or four people were trying to steal marijuana. A person was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

7:09 a.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Melody Road reported a dead bear on the side of the road.

10:57 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Spring Street reported a burglary.

6:27 p.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Jordan Street reported the theft of an iPad.
