Police blotter: Man reports being a federal telepath

Grass Valley Police Department

Sunday

9:27 a.m. — A man from the 1800 block of East Main Street reported he was a federal telepath and was at Burger King. At 10:03 a.m., he reported he needed to get information to the CIA.



11:32 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported sewage seeping from a manhole.

12:57 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a woman smoking and drunk, and refusing to leave the inside of a store.




1:32 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Church Street reported a man possibly on drugs and asking people at an ATM for money and a ride.

1:42 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Richardson Street reported the theft of a Toyota Tacoma with New Mexico plates.

1:47 p.m. — A caller from Alta and Richardson streets reported a blown transformer.

4:55 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported people trying to break into an apartment.

5:46 p.m. — A caller from the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway requested an ambulance for a woman with hypothermia.

7:06 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.

7:37 p.m. — A caller from Litton and Sierra College drive reported items were stolen from a vehicle, including a jacket.

7:39 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Joershcke Drive reported a man tried to break into his vehicle.

Sunday

8:39 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Brewer Road reported the theft of a briefcase, a Fast pass and a car key from an unlocked vehicle.

8:44 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Banner Lava Cap Road reported identity theft.

9:24 a.m. — A caller from Auburn and McCourtney roads reported a tree down in the roadway.

10:12 a.m. — A caller from Cement Hill Road and Applewood Lane reported to men in a gold Buick engaged in a drug transaction with a Toyota Tundra. A man was cited on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia. A woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and providing a false ID, as well as outstanding warrants.

10:52 a.m. — A caller reported a juvenile had been out all night and returned home drunken.

1:39 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Polaris Drive reported a power line down that had been sparking and smoking.

4:14 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Casa Loma Drive reported a man broke in and assaulted him. No injuries were reported. It was found to be a civil issue.

4:34 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Gautier Drive reported a gate had been cut.

5:06 p.m. — A caller from the hospital reported a domestic violence victim seeking treatment.

6:37 p.m. — A caller from the 26000 block of Highway 49 reported the theft of a phone.

6:45 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Roosevelt Drive reported neighbors are shining laser lights into the residence.

6:58 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Lawrence Way reported two men in a truck asked for gas, and possibly were casing residences.

7:13 p.m. — A man from Adam Avenue and Squirrel Creek Road reported he asked a man to move his SUV from the road and the man became irate and tried to fight him.

10:23 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Holland Drive reported two people throwing rocks at a house. They then broke in and were searching for a woman, who was hiding in the closet. They then left.

10:51 p.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Ridge Road reported a woman hit her.

5:05 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Street reported two men stole a suitcase of money from the warming shelter.

7:48 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of La Colina Drive reported the theft of a vehicle.

Friday

6 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Helling Way reported a “telepathic man” ranting.

Saturday

3:31 a.m. — A caller from South Pine and Spring streets reported a barely conscious man who had been assaulted. He said he had fallen and a friend was picking him up.

10:02 a.m. — A caller reported a woman had been beaten; she had contacted DVSAC.

1:14 p.m. — A caller from Pioneer Park reported a man possibly under the influence and making vulgar statements.

3 p.m. — A caller fro the 600 block of Nevada Street reported the theft of mail.

Sunday

1:12 a.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported men sleeping in the restrooms.

3:02 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bourbon Hill Road reported a small deer struck in a water tank with its mother trying to get it out. It was freed.
