Police blotter: Man on cat bike, disinfectant purchase arouse suspicion

Sunday

10:21 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Eureka Street reported a man lying in the roadway. He had been drinking and was moving on.



10:23 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Glenwood Road reported a theft from a shed.

2:19 p.m. — A caller from West McKnight Way and Freeman Lane reported a man and a woman shooting up in a van; they could not be located.




2:29 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Colfax Avenue reported a man stole items; he was cited and released.

3:45 p.m. — A caller from Dorsey Drive reported two young boys playing on heavy equipment; they were advised to go home.

6:05 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Litton Drive reported an interrupted burglary of a storage shed by two men.

7:40 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man shoplifted.

7:53 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported people buying disinfectant and other strange items.

10:51 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Norlene Way reported a neighbor had been stealing water for at least two weeks; no charges were desired.

12:51 p.m. — A man from Ridge Road and Rough and Ready Highway reported he was riding a bike and was forced off the road by a vehicle, sustaining minor injuries.

12:53 p.m. — A caller from Butler Road reported a verbal dispute had been going on for two days. A man said it was between him and his two girlfriends who just found out about one another.

2:57 p.m. — A man from Pekolee drive reported a fight with a man Friday night who brandished a weapon.

3:25 p.m. — A caller from Pekolee Drive reported a disoriented elderly man; a family had just reported a man with Alzheimer’s disease had gone missing as of about 2 p.m. He was returned to his residence.

3:43 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Michael Way reported identity theft.

4:58 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Manzanita Drive reported a man riding a motorized bike that was dressed like a cat, with a tail, knocking on the door of a vacant residence. He could not be located.

9:57 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 bock of Crystal Wells Road reported someone was being stabbed at the fire station; no one was located.

10:10 p.m. — A caller form the 12000 block of Archery Way reported hearing gunshots.

11:53 p.m. — A caller from Champion Mine Road reported a tree down, blocking the roadway.

Monday

12:57 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Lost Ranch Way reported a man grabbed and pushed a woman. A report was taken.

1:19 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Carriage Road reported a physical fight with a person on drugs. A man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and bring a controlled substance into jail.

8:44 a.m. — A caller from Searls Avenue and Gold Flat Road reported hearing seven gunshots; nothing was located.

10:10 a.m. — A caller from Calanan Park reported two men smoking marijuana, who could not be located.

Sunday

11:03 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported a shoplifter.

8:44 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Railroad Avenue reported an attempted robbery at the bank. No weapon was seen, the person asked for money.
