Police Blotter: Man hit in head for unleashed dog

8:38 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Washington Street reported seeing six to seven transient looking subjects sitting on picnic tables by a kid’s play area.



10:29 a.m. — A man from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported his neighbor has been jumping on the floor all night long.

11:07 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Brunswick Drive reported locating a loose pit bull in the neighborhood.




12:38 p.m. — A caller from the corner of East Main and South Auburn Streets reported six to eight kids riding skateboards in the middle of the street causing traffic.

1:30 p.m. — A caller from the intersection of Highway 49 and Idaho Maryland Road reported a ladder in the roadway.

2:45 p.m. — A caller from the corner of Highway 49 and West McKnight Way reported a motorcyclist driving fast and flipping off other drivers.

3:19 p.m. — A caller from the corner of East Main Street and Idaho Maryland Road reported a full-size truck hit the roundabout.

3:39 p.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a woman by the recycling center draining the sewer tank.

7:52 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Celesta Drive reported a subject dumped concrete in the roadway.

9:04 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Willow Valley Road reported someone was trying to drill her door. Caller said she has locked herself in her bedroom.

10:50 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported that her brother picked her up and is screaming at her.

12:27 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported that her sister and children were living in an inhabitable trailer with four animals.

2:00 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported transients were sleeping in the building when a janitor came in.

4:24 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Railroad Avenue reported a welfare check on a woman whose son had cussed the caller out.

10:03 a.m. — A man from the 15000 block of Greenhorn Access Road reported his boat battery was dead and he is stuck in the middle of the water.

11:12 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Marina Drive reported that five dogs are running around and acting aggressive toward people.

11:38 a.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Old Wood Road reported her husband is under a car.

12:02 p.m. — A woman from Highway 49 reported that she takes care of a man who just gave a large sum of money to a stranger, who made him go to the bank.

12:36 p.m. — A man from the 12000 block of Wolf Road reported that someone, possibly his wife, came to his home and broke doors, windows, and there is broken glass everywhere.

1:56 p.m. — A woman from the corner of Banner Quaker Hill and Pasquale Road reported that she found a wallet and is at home.

2:07 p.m. — A caller from the corner of Rex Reservoir Road and Rough and Ready Highway reported a car rolled over with a man and woman inside who seem pretty shaken up.

4:57 p.m. — A man from the 16000 block of Running Springs Road reported a rumor that someone was growing marijuana on his property. The caller said he hadn’t been to the property in 10 years.

6:38 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Robert Court reported a possible suicide for a woman who has previously tried to overdose on pills before. Caller called back about suicide attempt and said “nevermind.”

6:40 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Crystal Wells Road reported getting a text from a friend stating to tell loved ones goodbye.

9:16 p.m. — A man from the 12000 block of Beaver Drive reported finding a threatening letter attached to his mailbox.

9:18 p.m. — A caller from the corner of Jones Bar Road and Yuba Crest Drive reported that items located in the river were leaking gas and oil into the water.

Monday

12:11 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Shoshoni Trail Court reported hearing loud music with a lot of bass, and people yelling.

2:26 a.m. — A caller from the corner of Tiger Lily Lane and Brooks Road reported hearing a party with gunshots.

8:07 a.m. — A caller from the corner of Dog Bar Road and Bear River reported finding a domestic rabbit at the river. She brought the rabbit home.

8:42 a.m. — A man from the 12000 block of Cedar Crest Court reported that he was assaulted and hit in the head while he was walking his dog down a trail, after getting in a verbal altercation with a man concerned about his dog being unleashed.
