Police Blotter: Killer nurses sing ominous chant


Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

7:54 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Willow Pines Court reported her computer was hacked.

11:18 a.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Greenhorn Road reported she was tired of getting her medications ripped off and then screamed before hanging up.

11:36 a.m. – A caller from a local hospital wanted to report an assault.

11:43 a.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported that he was assaulted by a subject that hit him with a white sedan.

12:40 p.m. – A caller from the 31000 block of Highway 49 received a phone call from a known subject that warned her she was “as good as dead.”

3:18 p.m. – A caller from the 15000 block of Highway 20 reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be an IRS agent demanding money if the reporting party wanted to avert jail time.

3:58 p.m. – A caller from a local business in the 16000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported an extremely intoxicated male just exposed himself and urinated at a restaurant table.

4:25 p.m. – A caller from the 17000 block of Clover Road reported that her husband caused a fight when he prohibited her from cooking Thanksgiving dinner.

9:32 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Catherine Lane reported a license plate was stolen from off the rear of a company vehicle.

10:37 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Pleasant Street reported he was assaulted by another man who tried to hit him with his fists and his white Infinity sedan.

11:30 a.m. – A caller from an overnight accommodation establishment reported that drug paraphernalia was found in a room.

12:06 p.m. – A caller from the 700 block of Taylorville Road reported three juveniles in a Toyota Celica smoking marijuana.

3:21 p.m. – A caller from Condon Park claimed several juveniles smoking marijuana in the skate park.

4:16 p.m. – A caller from the 1600 block of East Main Street reported a lock on his house was destroyed and it was burglarized.

5:40 p.m. – A shoplifter was taken into custody at a Nevada City supermarket.

5:58 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Richardson Street said a cement block was thrown at her door knob, although no entry was made.

6:32 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of South Church Street said a male in a checkered coat appeared to be intoxicated and fell into the bushes and passed out.

6:40 p.m. – A caller from a business along Sutton Way reported that two men stole items from a business and fled into the woods behind the store.

7:00 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of South Church Street reported a subject was possibly breaking into the ground floor of an apartment.

10:25 p.m. – A caller at a local hospital reported three nurses were conspiring to kill him because he witnessed a possible attempted kidnapping. The subject reporting hearing a shotgun racked while the three nurses sang in unison: “Guns, guns, guns.” The subject later called back to ask dispatch officers if it was OK to drink the water offered by a nurse.

No logs were received from the Nevada City Police Department.
