Police Blotter " June 21
11:08 p.m. – A warrant was served on a woman on the 100 block of Berryhill Drive and she was booked into Wayne Brown Correctional Center on a probation violation.
2:41 p.m. . – A caller reported a large amount of glass and cans at the intersection of Brunswick Road and Sutton Way. Officers removed the debris.
12:54 p.m. – A man said a woman harassed him for parking in a public spot on the 200 block of Horizon Circle.
1:59 p.m. – Officers assisted an off-duty Nevada County sheriff’s deputy who was in a scuffle with another man.
2:42 p.m. – A caller reported a man with no shirt who possibly was drunk was driving on and off the pavement on Ridge Road.
3:23 p.m. – A man walked into the library downtown who was angry and yelled that he had to return to the military.
4:02 p.m. – A fight in progress was reported on the Hennessy School parking lot. Police arrested a 20-year-old man for threatening a person at the scene.
4:24 p.m. – A caller reported seeing a man drag a 3- to 4-year-old child by the ear across a McKnight Way parking lot, place her in a car and punch her in the shoulder. Officers received information for a follow-up investigation.
5:48 p.m. – A business on the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a woman stole two hoses and three cacti. Officers tracing her license plate found the woman with medication issues. She agreed to make payment arrangements with the store.
6:45 p.m. – A 2- to 3-year-old child, missing downtown at the Thursday Night Market, was found.
6:54 p.m. – Two juveniles were reported smoking marijuana at a Mill Street parking lot.
7:41 p.m. – A vehicle and a bicyclist collided at Mill and Bank streets. Medics responded, and officers took a report.
8:44 p.m. – A caller from the 500 block of South Auburn Street reported damage to her fence from a neighboring party the night before. The home now had knives on the lawn, a broken window and marijuana inside, the caller said.
9:13 p.m. – A hysterical caller said someone was trying to kill her son in Alexander Park on Bank Street. Responding officers contacted the son and witnesses at the park, who said nothing happened.
4:55 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Ophir Street reported a possible hate crime.
9:47 a.m. – A caller from the 400 block of Henderson Street said broken walnut shells on her porch indicated an intruder the night before.
10:42 a.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported her neighbor was harassing her by kicking and banging on her door. Responding officers quieted the parties.
11:45 a.m. – A caller from the 900 block of Golden Gate Terrace reported someone snapped the heads off of all his sprinklers overnight.
10:05 a.m. – A woman from the 17000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported her ex-boyfriend came up behind her the previous night and grabbed her by the neck. She requested a log entry only.
12:42 p.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Highway 49 reported loud music from a neighboring house.
12:52 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Lode Line Way reported the caller’s vehicle had been vandalized.
1:01 p.m. – A man from the 10000 block of Rough and Ready Road reported he had received threats from his ex-partner. He also said he was locked on the property and wasn’t able to get out.
1:31 p.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported the theft of a bicycle.
2:41 p.m. – Officers arrested a 27-year-old man on a misdemeanor arrest warrant when he was visiting an office at the Rood Center and booked him into the Nevada County jail.
3:33 p.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported several items missing after the person’s home had been broken into.
4:34 p.m. – A man from the 11000 block of Francis Drive reported someone has been stealing gas from his vehicles.
7:53 p.m. – A woman from the 14000 block of Indian Springs Road reported her ex-husband had violated a court order.
n 6:07 a.m. – A woman from the 12000 block of Ridge Road reported a man was watching her for a month. The man was possibly somewhere on the perimeter of her property. While she was on the telephone, the woman confronted the man, and he said he parked in front of her house and sneaked over to his girlfriend’s residence so her parents wouldn’t catch him.
6:48 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Sacramento Street reported someone had stolen the person’s credit card information.
