Thursday

n 12:04 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported someone misusing the caller’s credit card.



n 12:11 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported a man had passed out in the hallway. Officers contacted the 42-year-old man, arrested him on suspicion of public drunkenness, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer and booked him into Wayne Brown Correctional facility.

n 12:34 p.m. – A man from the 200 block of North Auburn Street reported his landlord had turned off his power.




n 3:59 p.m. – A woman from the 100 block of McNab Circle reported she lent her vehicle to her neighbors, and they hadn’t returned it.

n 5:29 p.m. – A woman from a business on Sutton Way reported her purse was stolen while she was loading groceries into her vehicle.

n 6:52 p.m. – Officers cited and released an 18-year-old man on the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway on suspicion of shoplifting.

Friday

n 9:48 a.m. – A man from the 500 block of Woodland Way reported an assault had taken place the day before at his residence.

n 10:41 a.m. – Officers arrested a 30-year-old man at the intersection of Mill Street and French Avenue on an out-of-county warrant and booked him into the Nevada County jail.

n 11:49 a.m. – A woman from Brunswick Road reported her vehicle had just been keyed. A report was taken for vandalism.

n 1:28 p.m. – A man from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported his residence had been burglarized and several items were missing. A report was taken for burglary.

Thursday

n 9:36 a.m. – A caller from Rough and Ready Highway reported about eight mailboxes in a row had been damaged.

n 11:35 a.m. – A man from the 10000 block of Forest Springs Drive reported several items had been stolen from his house the night before.

n 12:30 p.m. – A caller from Rough and Ready Highway reported a runaway juvenile.

n 12:57 p.m. – A woman from the 11000 block of Landon Lane reported her garage door was wide open when she came home. She was uncertain whether anyone was inside her residence.

n 2:30 p.m. – A caller from the 17000 block of Indian Springs Road reported vandalism and requested contact with officers.

n 6:02 p.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported theft of a laptop from an unlocked vehicle the night before.

n 6:31 p.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Mule Canyon Road reported a single-vehicle motorcycle accident. The call was transferred to the California Department of Fire. The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

n 8:36 p.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Skaith Bend requested help with the caller’s 24-year-old son, who was delusional but wouldn’t go to the hospital for medical assistance.

Friday

n 6:58 a.m. – A caller from the 17000 block of Penny Court reported an assault. The two parties involved in the incident have been separated, the caller said.
