Police blotter: Injured turkey reportedly foot-bailed

7:48 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Hughes Road reported items had been stolen from a vehicle and off her front porch.
8:49 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported a burglary at a business.
9:46 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Catherine Lane reported a man in a truck backed into the overhang of a building and knocked a pillar off, and should not be driving per medical staff.
11:21 a.m. — A caller from Nevada City Highway reported a man smoking marijuana in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business. The vehicle was unoccupied when an officer arrived.
12:28 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported two men in a physical fight; they could not be located.
12:42 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a transient camp.
4:04 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Taylorville Road reported transients smoking and running around naked at night.
4:55 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Sutton Way reported a shoplifter had locked herself in the restroom. She could not be located.
5:05 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported a shoplifter in custody, but did not want to press charges.
6:26 p.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Ridge Road reported skateboarders damaged a deck.
6:29 p.m. — A woman from the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a suspicious fire in an area of wood chips in front of a business, which was extinguished. Similar fires reportedly have occurred in the area.
8:21 p.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported a woman asking men for sex; she could not be located.
10:46 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of North Church Street reported seeing flashlights in a condemned residence. Nothing was located.
12:45 a.m. — A woman from Bank Street reported a man assaulted her, but left before an officer arrived.

8:06 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Juniper Drive reported the theft of a package from a mailbox.
8:33 a.m. — A caller from Bear River High School reported a vehicle accident; another caller reported he was rear-ended and then choked. No medical attention was needed for the physical altercation.
9:46 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Brookview drive Circle reported a dog attacked another dog.
10:40 a.m. — A woman from Crowsnest Lane reported a man was breaking into a safe and stealing her medication, and threatened to burn the house down. No crime was found to have occurred. At 2:23 p.m., the woman reported he bit her finger. He was arrested on suspicion of battery.
11:39 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Gray Oak Drive reported a pit bull attacked a deer.
1:01 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Sky Pines Road reported a physical fight involving hitting and pushing. A woman was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.
1:24 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported a woman screaming. A man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and violating probation.
1:41 p.m. — A caller from Torrey Pines Drive reported two women in a physical fight, which was mediated.
2:07 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Durbrow Road reported vandalism.
2:17 p.m. — A caller from McCourtney Road reported a marijuana garden had been vandalized.
4:57 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of McCourtney Road reported identity theft with fraudulent charges.
4:58 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Kenebec Court reported an injured turkey, which foot-bailed when a deputy arrived.
7:30 p.m. — A caller from the jail reported finding drugs in the belonging of an arrestee.
7:47 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Highway 49 reported an assault by a neighbor with a broom.
7:26 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Ivey Lane reported the theft of mail.
