Police Blotter: Husky puppy, cat almost hangs self

Thursday

8:08 a.m. — A woman from the 900 block of Slate Creek Road reported a Husky puppy on her property, and advised that the puppy is a constant problem.



9:49 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported the theft of clothing from a washing machine at a laundromat.

10:39 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported finding a baby carrier on the edge of a parking lot.




12:09 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported that a woman had been kicked out of his clothing store five times in one day and is back in the men’s section.

4:25 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South School Street reported skateboarders on the ramp and stairs.

6:36 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of East Main Street reported two small children in the back of her car with minor neck pain.

6:42 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Main Street reported being threatened at work by a coworker.

7:38 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported his mother was drunk and being mean to him, threatening him with a bat.

8:05 p.m. — A woman from the 900 block of Slate Creek Road reported her brother kicked her in the head because she owed him $20.

9:30 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Henderson Street reported a shirtless subject being combative at a business.

9:58 p.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Clark Street reported two homeless people arguing in her backyard.

1:37 a.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a driver backed into their porch and drove off.

2:21 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of South Auburn Street reported hearing people yelling and banging, and a possible gunshot.

3:52 a.m. — A caller form the corner of Gates Place and Nevada City Highway reported someone sleeping beneath the house.

5:32 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported from a lobby that he had a spider bite.

6:21 a.m. — A woman from the 900 block of West Main Street reported that her car was stolen sometime last night.

12:41 a.m. — A caller on Prospect Street reported two men walked into her backyard, asked her for water and asked to come into her home.

4:23 a.m. — A caller on Coyote Street said a transient was in the lobby of the post office, vomiting.

11:45 a.m. — A caller on Nile Street reported embezzlement and extortion.

1:53 p.m. — A caller on Helling Way reported a cat on a string, in a car parked in the lot, attempting to jump out of the vehicle and in danger of hanging itself.

10:50 p.m. — A caller on Broad Street reported a woman passed out on the sidewalk.

4:23 a.m. — A caller on Nimrod Street reported a woman laying on the ground next to a Dumpster.
