Police blotter: Husband uses crosses, salt to get rid of Satan

7:32 a.m. — A man from the 400 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported he left his wallet in his rental car and now his credit card has activity on it.
7:39 a.m. — A caller reported a neighbor growing marijuana or selling it out of a residence.
9:13 a.m. — A woman reported watching a newscast about bombs in backpacks, and said she saw two backpacks propped against a post at McKnight Way and Taylorville Road. They could not be located.
9:29 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 800 block of South Auburn Street reported a commercial burglary.
10:10 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 600 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported the theft of a motor home without license plates.
10:15 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported a man threw things at her.
10:30 a.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported a transient camp in a drainage culvert.
10:35 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Leahy Road reported transients going through her gate and camping, and possibly stealing water.
12:20 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 200 block of Colfax Avenue reported someone broke out the side window of a customer’s vehicle.
2:43 p.m. — A caller reported a woman in a nightie throwing things and putting a knife to her throat. She was taken to the hospital.
3:23 p.m. — A caller form the 100 block of Neal Street reported a girl panhandling, who was picked up by her grandfather.
5:36 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a woman shoplifting; she was advised not to return.
7:14 p.m. — A man reported the theft of a backpack.
4:32 a.m. — A caller from Whispering Pines Lane and Idaho-Maryland Road reported hearing a bang and a man screaming, then crying for an hour. The caller thought it might be a suicide, but the report was unfounded.
4:52 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway reported a man broke a door and threatened people. He was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and resisting arrest.

9:22 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Vino Bodega Lane reported a lottery scam.
9:36 a.m. — A woman reported she hadn’t been home since Saturday because her husband said Satan was there. He had torn up the house, put up crosses in the back yard and poured salt over everything. He had been calling her since 4 a.m. and telling her Satan was coming for her. No crime was found and no mental health evaluation was needed.
10:07 a.m. — A caller from Dog Bar Road at the Bear River bridge reported illegal campers.
11:02 a.m. — A caller from West Hacienda Drive and Combie Road reported transients camping in the trees.
11:17 a.m. — A woman reported a man attacked her, urinated on her vehicle and was acting strangely. He called and said she was lying.
12:05 p.m. — A caller from the jail reported an inmate assaulted another inmate, who was taken to the hospital for treatment. A man was arrested and re-booked on suspicion of assault.
1:56 p.m. — A caller from the 21000 block of Spring Ranches Road reported a forged check.
2:16 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Rock Creek Road reported a parcel was stolen ut of a mailbox.
5:50 p.m. — A man from the 13000 block of Golden Star Road reported an assault by a woman regarding a kitchen fire.
8:23 p.m. — A caller reported a man was sending nude photos to a juvenile’s Instagram account.
1:03 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Oak Drive reported someone trying to get in a residence, possibly on the roof. The report was unfounded.
2:14 a.m. — A caller from Oak Drive reported hearing a gunshot.
3:33 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Devonshire Circle reported gunshots and screaming livestock; nothing was located.
4:12 a.m. — A caller from Champion Road and Old Downieville Highway reported a loud party and people yelling. It was quiet when a deputy arrived.
6:43 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Brunswick Road reported vandalism to a tire.
7:21 a.m. — A man from the 17000 block of Penn valley Drive reported an IRS scam call; when the caller was confronted, he claimed to be from ISIS.

8:06 a.m. — A caller from Redbud Way reported the theft of a briefcase and wallet left next to a vehicle last night.
11:39 a.m. — A woman from East Broad Street reported a trimmigrant camping in front of her residence in a van. The van was tagged as abandoned.
6:04 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Jordan Street reported a man inside a property gate with his bike stuck in the fence. He was moving on.
