Police blotter: Home invasion robbery reported in Camptonville

Grass Valley Police Department

Wednesday

8:35 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Pine Lane reported a heated verbal dispute. At 9:43 a.m., a caller reported shouting and things crashing around. The parties were separating for the day. At 10:41 a.m., a female had broken out some windows. She was arrested on suspicion of violating probation.



9:02 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of Independence Court reported vandalism to his vehicle.

11:33 a.m. — A caller from the business in the 1200 block of East Main Street reported a woman refusing to pay and refusing to leave. She was cited on suspicion of defrauding an innkeeper.




1:26 p.m. — A caller fro the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported suspects loaded up a cart with items and left the store.

1:50 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a theft.

3:25 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 800 bock of East Main Street reported a man eating out of a trash can and making people uncomfortable. He was advised to seek help at the homeless shelter.

4:21 p.m. — A caller from the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway reported people smoking drugs behind a business.

4:23 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Hazel Lane reported an assault, but did not need medical attention.

8:48 p.m. — A man from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a person pushed him and kicked the door of his truck.

10:09 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Hughes Road reported a man pointing a rifle with a scope at people. A man and his son were playing with AirSoft rifles and were admonished.

11:02 p.m. — A woman from the hospital said she was calling from the “nut room.” A nurse said she might be confused.

8:05 a.m. — A caller from the 25000 block of Table Meadow Road reported the theft of a generator by three men in a sedan, who put it in the trunk and left with the trunk door open

8:38 a.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Pine Hill Drive reported vandalism to her vehicle.

8:57 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Ragan Way reported identity theft.

9:24 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Chatsworth Lane reported a phone scam.

9:37 p.m. — A caller from Scotts Flat Lake reported the theft of a wallet from a locked vehicle.

9:40 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported an attempted burglary to the ATM room of a bank.

10:31 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Cook Road reported a neglected horse.

10:58 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Reader Ranch Road reported a vegetation fire under a power line.

11:45 a.m. — A caller from Bubbling Wells and Town Talk roads reported a Waste Management truck on fire.

12:02 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Wolf Mountain Road reported receiving a counterfeit bill.

12:48 p.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Peninsula Drive reported a possible residential burglary after finding a man at her front door when she drove up.

12:51 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of Broken Oak Court reported a woman threw an ashtray at him and left on foot. A BOLO was issued.

1:36 p.m. — A woman from Campbell Loop reported the theft of items from a residence.

3:02 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Salt reek Road reported possible identity theft.

3:07 p.m. — A caller from union Hill School reported hearing gunshots; it was quiet when a deputy arrived.

3:44 p.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Hopeful Hill Road reported a juvenile assaulted her and ran away. The juveniles returned.

4:01 p.m. — A woman from the 20000 block of Buckboard Road reported a scam call from someone saying she had a warrant.

6:43 p.m. — A caller from the 31000 block of Relief Hill Road reported yelling and drinking and promiscuous shooting in the air.

8:10 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Grizzly Creek Road reported squatters, one of whom had a gun that he fired over another person’s head. No weapons were found.

9 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Stinson Drive reported a fight with one person grabbing a woman’s arm and trying to grab her phone.

10:03 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Dandee Hill Lane reported ongoing trespassing issues.

Thursday

12:08 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported a man on rollerblades asking for money to wash windshields. He could not be located.

5:43 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Lakewood Lane reported a woman was saying she had been beat up and was hiding. A woman was arrested on suspicion of battery.

6:11 a.m. — A woman from Highway 49 reported someone broke into her residence and held her at gunpoint, and stole jewelry, money and marijuana. She said they held a gun to her baby’s head and shot at her when she followed them. She lives in Camptonville and the case was turned over to Yuba County.

12:03 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 400 block of Broad Street reported a possible burglary.

4:58 p.m. — A caller from Brock Road and Hoover Lane reported hearing gunshots.

10:34 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported vandalism.

Thursday

5:34 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported someone throwing rocks at a building.

6:05 a.m. — A woman from Sacramento and Zion streets reported her vehicle windshield was smashed last night.
