Police blotter: Gun shots and phone scams

9:20 a.m. — A caller in the vicinity of Upper Circle Drive and Terren Court reported a deer hobbling around with part of a rear leg missing.
9:48 a.m. — A caller reported neglected or abandoned animals at a home on the 14000 block of Penn Road.
10:28 a.m. — A caller in the vicinity of Duggans Road and Lime Kiln Road reported an emaciated horse.
10:31 a.m. — A caller reported a man hanging out for roughly a week in the bushes at the end of the roadway on Commercial Avenue. The subject had reportedly offered alcohol to an 11 year old Thursday night.
11:26 a.m. — A caller in the vicinity of Highway 20 and Pleasant Valley Road reported an altercation between two men with metal objects in hand.
11:33 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Nimbus Dam Road reported possible credit card fraud.
1:49 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Owl Road requested contact regarding a possible rental-housing scam on Craigslist.
3:59 p.m. — A 911 caller from Highway 49 near Cherry Creek Road reported a man on the side of the road, trying to start a grass-fire with matches.
5:32 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Cruzon Grade Road reported a vandalism case.
6:52 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a juvenile smashing things with a baseball bat and threatening to hit people.
8:14 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Francis Drive reported that a drunken neighbor was threatening to shoot him and his dog, because the dog barks.
10:32 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Crooked Arrow Lane reported a loud party.
12:14 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Crotty Court reported that her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend attempted to break into their residence. The suspect was chased, and held down by the boyfriend prior to the reporting party calling dispatch.
1:50 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported several juveniles smoking marijuana at the gas station.
3:06 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Fisher Court reported peeping toms on her deck, moving furniture.
7:59 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Highland Court reported that her boyfriend stole $200 before running down the hill through the woods.
8:06 A.M. — A caller from the 10000 block of Oak Court reported being screamed at and physically pushed by her boyfriend’s father, who reportedly owns a gun, during an argument over toothpaste and Listerine. The reporting party locked herself in her bedroom while telling dispatch that she wanted the boyfriend and his father arrested.
11:09 a.m. — A caller in the vicinity of Sharon Way and Norlene Way reported someone setting off fireworks in the area.
12:21 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Norlene Way reported ongoing harassing calls from an overseas phone scam.
1:33 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Jones Ridge Road got a suspicious call from a subject claiming to be a Sheriff’s Office employee, asking for bail money regarding a warrant issued for the reporting party.
2:09 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Lower Circle Drive asked for contact regarding a possible Craigslist scam.
5:39 p.m. — A caller in the vicinity of Knoll Top Drive and Niels Meade Drive reported vandalism on a street sign.
7:37 p.m. — A caller from Swenson Ravine reported an altercation over a starving horse, in which the male half was firing a gun into the air to frighten two individuals trying to rescue the animal.
7:38 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a juvenile threatening people with a baseball bat for the second night in a row.
7:53 p.m. — A caller in the vicinity of Bloomfield Graniteville Road and Highway 49 reported that her hiking partner had gone missing. The victim was later located checking into a motel.
9:43 p.m. — A caller in the vicinity of Snow Mountain Camp Road and New Rome Road reported that her neighbors were setting off fireworks.
11:33 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Creek View Drive reported hearing approximately 50 gunshots coming from across the street, and dispatchers heard rapid gunfire in the background. Another caller nearby reported hearing gunshots and someone yelling. At least one vehicle was seen fleeing the scene.
11:41 p.m. — An area search was conducted in the vicinity of Ridge Road and Rough and Ready Highway after reports of a female screaming at Hells Half Acre.
2:09 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Rollins Park Road reported hearing several voices and four gunshots from near Greenhorn Access Road.
3:02 a.m. — Callers from the 14000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported an unknown male had entered their home through an unlocked door. They found him in the bathroom, but he later moved out to the back porch and smoked a cigarette near the resident’s vehicle.
