Thursday

7:45 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Clark Street reported a neighbor running a lawnmower in violation of a court order.



10:29 a.m. — A caller from Walsh and Pleasant streets reported someone dumped a couch in the intersection.

10:29 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Independence Court reported more vandalism.




12:21 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Depot Street reported a possibly malnourished puppy just ate a sponge.

3:27 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported the theft of anti-freeze from the front porch.

4:17 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glenwood Avenue reported people doing meth; the report was unfounded.

5:07 p.m. — A caller from Hughes and Ridge roads reported a truck swerving and causing a traffic hazard. The vehicle was then reported in the 10000 block of Alta Street and the driver was being detained. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

5:20 p.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported a physical fight; no charges were desired.

6:03 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Hazel Labe reported drug activity.

6:20 p.m. — A woman from Old Tunnel Road reported people harassing her through the voices in her head.

6:43 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Henderson Street reported 12 juveniles loitering and fighting.

7:33 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported men drinking beer and harassing people; they could not be located.

7:39 p.m. — A caller from Hennessy School reported four people in a physical fight. Another call was made at 8:13 p.m. with a fight breaking up.

1:09 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported a loud party, which could not be located.

8:22 a.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Magnolia Road reported being called on a warrant scam.

8:26 a.m. — A man from the 29000 block of Highway 49 reported the theft of a generator from a front porch.

9:29 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Cameo Lane reported a man possible casing a vacant home.

10:27 a.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Pleasant Valley Road reported an aggressive panhandler sticking his sign in people’s windows.

10:54 a.m. — A caller from San Francisco Street reported possible animal neglect.

11:01 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Norvin Way reported a mountain lion dragged off a goat overnight.

11:25 a.m. — A caller from Pleasant Valley Road reported three or four neglected horses.

1:54 p.m. — A caller from Mulberry Lane reported an embezzled container.

2:29 p.m. — A man from the 17000 block of Penn Valley Road reported the theft of a bag with checkbooks and other business paraphernalia from a vehicle.

5:11 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Cedar Ridge Drive reported elder abuse.

5:17 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Hughes Road reported a scam call from someone impersonating a Nevada County Sheriff’s deputy.

5:17 p.m. — A caller from the 25000 block of Long Court reported finding drug paraphernalia at a house.

5:21 p.m. — Three separate report were taken for drugs found at the jail.

6:07 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Sierra Drive reported two people in a vehicle doing drugs.

6:09 p.m. — A caller from Gautier Drive reported a physical fight involving two men and a woman.

9:11 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Willow Valley Road reported hearing a gunshot.

9:15 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Red Dog Road reported a bear in his garage, which then walked away.

Friday

12:41 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Greenhorn Road reported a woman prowling below his window; no one was located.

12:58 a.m. — A caller from Brewer and Wolf Creek roads reported a truck possibly stealing water from a fire hydrant. No one was located.

3:01 a.m. — A caller from Thomas Ranch Circle reported a man hit a woman and cut her arm.

9:50 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Gold Flat Road reported a woman walking on the highway. She was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

Friday

2 a.m. — A caller from Broad and Union streets reported a woman lying in the road. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

3:19 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sacramento Street reported an elderly man wandering around with a pillow.
