Tuesday

1:57 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West Main Street reported a shoplifter.



4:30 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported a man in a vehicle shouting obscenities and drinking from an open container. He was gone when an officer arrived.

4:30 p.m. — A caller from the Northstar Mining Museum reported a golf cart inside the gate in which a person appeared to be living.




4:55 p.m. — A caller from the 1700 block of East Main Street reported a man and a woman in a physical fight; no one was located.

5:17 p.m. — A caller from Candy and Primrose lanes reported a woman in a Jeep had struck a few cars. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.

5:28 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a fire in a tree stump, which had been knocked down.

6:13 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of McCourtney Road reported a transient camp.

7:16 p.m. — A caller from the 200 bock of Race Street reported a man climbed a locked fence in the back of a business.

8:07 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of Olympia Park Road reported a man refusing to leave, who was angry at the way an employee smiled at him.

8:53 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Catherine Lane reported squatters in a vacant building.

9:47 p.m. — A caller form the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man knocking over trash cans, tables and shopping carts.

9:53 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Colfax Avenue reported a man with a cane hit a vehicle as it drove by; he could not be located.

10:21 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man was now on the roof.

8:35 a.m. — A caller from Hovick Stone reported a man and a woman went through the back of private property and over a fence.

9:03 a.m. — A caller from a school in the 13000 block of Bitney Springs Road reported a vehicle in the parking lot, possibly selling marijuana.

9:15 a.m. — A caller from Western Gateway Park reported an ongoing issue with a person leaving a dog in a locked vehicle.

10:16 a.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a juvenile assaulted a staff member.

11:16 a.m. — A caller from Mackinaw Way reported a person borrowed a vehicle for an hour, four days ago, and had not yet returned it.

11:47 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Northview Drive reported the theft of credit cards from a wallet.

1:06 p.m. — A caller from the 21000 block of Adamson Court reported a person lying under a tarp in a neighbor’s yard; the person was given a ride to Auburn.

1:09 p.m. — A caller from Allison Ranch and McCourtney roads reported that a transient wanted to return a water monitoring device worth $15,000-$18,000 that had been stolen.

2:11 p.m. — A woman from the 11000 block of Melody Road reported a man brandished a firearm at her as he sped by.

2:26 p.m. — A caller from Birchville and Pine Grove Reservoir roads reported a vehicle hit a power pole and sheared it off.

2:33 p.m. — A caller from the 22000 block of Cameo Drive reported a Social Security number was used fraudulently to obtain a smart phone.

2:37 p.m. — A man from Bear Trap and Tyler-Foote Crossing roads reported the theft of a gun.

2:52 p.m. — A caller from Alta Street reported a woman gave birth to a baby that tested positive for drugs; the child was taken by CPS.

3:40 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Siskin Court reported identity theft.

4:11 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 12000 block of Highway 49 reported a person stole a bumper and was being detained; the person then agreed to pay for the item.

5:31 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Wilson Road reported ongoing theft and vandalism to trees.

5:55 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Myrna Drive reported trespassers.

6:50 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Ridge Road reported the theft of items from a residence.

9:04 p.m. — A man from Woolman Lane reported a woman in his residence trying to kill him. He said he was not normal for him to see things. He then said it was possibly a dream.

9:25 p.m. — A caller from Timberland Drive reported a boy on the side of the road in his underwear.

12:45 a.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported a mountain lion.

3:53 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Old Wood Drive reported hearing voices and someone rattling a vehicle’s doors.

9:58 a.m. — A caller from South Pine and Cabin streets reported a person setting up camp and littering.

10:44 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of North Pine Street reported vandalism to a vehicle.

2:36 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Argall Way reported vandalism.

Tuesday

8:12 a.m. — A caller reported shots fired in the Deer Creek area at about 4 a.m.

1:37 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported the theft of several “No on Y” signs.

2:24 p.m. — A caller from the jail reported a person looking into the windows of the women’s dorms; no one was located.

7:29 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported men standing outside drinking.
