Police blotter: Fed-up mom calls police

11:29 a.m. — A caller from Glasson Way reported a possibly physical fight between a man and a woman in a transient camp.

1:33 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported two men ate and were refusing to pay their bill. The suspect was contacted and paid the bill.

2:26 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported a man had been caught in a doctor’s vehicle and was now leaving on foot. He was arrested on suspicion of loitering and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

5:56 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter in custody who had a knife in his pockets; he was cited and released.

7:48 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Whiting Street reported people doing drugs in a residence.

11:26 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported a dispute involving a woman who had a bat in her hand. It was an argument between a man and his son over the son being drunk.

8:54 a.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Drummer Way reported what might have been a bear destroyed her bird aviary.

9:52 a.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Wolf Drive reported a burglary to a vehicle, with nothing taken.

10:29 a.m. — A caller from the 26000 block of Highway 49 reported an unhappy customer damaged the front door to a business last night.

11:17 a.m. — A woman from Norvin Way reported a man who was not supposed to be at an address was there and was damaging tools and his shop.

12:41 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of Meyer Road reported a residential burglary.

1:10 p.m. — A man from the 14000 block of Chattering Pines Road reported his wife saw a man leaving their bedroom in an attempted burglary this morning. The same man might have tried to burglarize a neighboring residence, but the alarm went off.

1:31 p.m. — A caller from East Bennett and Brunswick roads reported a suspicious structure that might be a drug lab.

1:52 p.m. — A caller from Western Gateway Park reported a man smoking drugs in a vehicle, who could not be located.

9:52 p.m. — A man from Norlene and Alexandra ways requested an area check for juveniles destroying mailboxes, saying he could hear chaos. Nothing was located.

6:58 p.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported a man being verbally abusive and asking customers for glue.

9:47 p.m. — A woman from Orchard Street reported she does not want her sons in her house anymore because they don’t listen to her.

11:39 p.m. — A man from Sacramento and Broad streets reported his girlfriend was abusing him; he called back to say he was going home.


3:06 p.m. — A caller from Zion Street reported illegal dumping.


7:15 a.m. — A caller from Broad Street reported someone throwing objects off the bridge at passing vehicles. No one was located.

10:54 a.m. — A caller from Broad Street reported a man and woman in dirty clothes walked into a church with a video camera, yelled something and ran out.
