Wednesday



9:49 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of East Springhill Drive reported a personal check was taken from an office and cashed for $400. The caller did not want to press charges.

1:42 p.m. – A caller from South Church Street reported two men urinating on a wall who made verbal threats when confronted.




2:28 p.m. – A warrant was served at a residence in the 300 block of Second Street. A woman and man at the residence denied knowledge of the man being sought. However, officers heard movement in the attic and found Preston Ryan and Jacob Shimnoski hiding in the attic. The woman was cited for obstructing a public officer. Daniel Pradhan was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a public officer and violating probation. Ryan was arrested on suspicion of obstruction, failing to appear on a felony charge and several outstanding warrants. Shimnoski was arrested on suspicion of violating probation, possession of controlled substances, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, obstruction, failure to appear and failure to comply with a court order.

5:42 p.m. – A caller from Memorial Park reported a person camping in the park.

9:52 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Springhill Drive reported a person on the roof. It was found to be the owner, repairing the roof.

Thursday

1:41 a.m. – A man from the 300 block of Mill Street reported someone threw a brick through a window and hit a pregnant woman. She did not need medical attention.

2:11 a.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Horizon Circle reported loud music.

12:03 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported people trying to sell illegal products out of a vehicle.

12:09 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Quail Creek Road reported a possible theft from a vehicle.

2:24 p.m. – A caller from Chicago Park School reported a juvenile found with firecrackers on campus.

6:32 p.m. – A caller from Nevada Union High School reported three juveniles in a blue Toyota truck pulled a fire alarm.

8:05 p.m. – A caller from the 15000 block of Lorie Drive reported a theft.

8:53 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported hearing four gunshots. Another caller reported hearing about 50 shots or bottle rockets. An individual admitted to setting off bottle rockets in reaction to another neighbor doing the same thing.

7:41 p.m. – A woman from the 800 block of Zion Street reported a loose squirrel in her house. She did not want to try to catch it. The squirrel returned to a tree.

Thursday

12:10 a.m. – A caller from a business in the 300 block of Broad Street reported underage drinkers with fake IDs. One juvenile was cited.
