Police blotter: Drunken man with pool cue reported

Thursday

11:35 a.m. — A caller from Bank and South Auburn streets reported a man drinking in public; he was arrested on suspicion of having an open container and failing to comply with a court order.



2:32 p.m. — A caller from Nevada City Highway and Banner Lava Cap Road reported a man face down on the road; he could not be located.

3:14 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West Main Street reported the theft of a wrought iron table from a porch.




3:52 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Freeman Lane reported people smoking marijuana in front of a store; they were moving on.

4:09 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported a person driving a very loud motorcycle back and forth and jumping up and down on the motorcycle.

4:11 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man who stole a check was inside a bank. A report was taken.

4:47 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Bennett Street reported eight boys with skateboards running into traffic; they were moving on.

5:54 p.m. — A caller from Bank and South Auburn streets reported a person drinking in public.
