Police blotter: Drunken advances reported in Nevada City

Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

8:05 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Mill Street reported a 12-year-old was throwing items at her.



8:19 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 300 block of Railroad Avenue reported someone cut a large hole in the fence.

12:05 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported an elderly man was trying to wire money to India in a possible fraud.




3:10 p.m. — A caller from Bennett and Ophir streets reported a man charged a vehicle and try to hit someone inside. A woman reported her broke out the back window with this fist. He was arrested on suspicion of violating a restraining order.

3:54 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Main Street reported a possibly embezzled vehicle.

3:56 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Church Street reported a person bedding down by a building at night and defecating in the area. Extra patrols were requested.

10:57 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Colfax Avenue reported a person yelling for help. A man said he had been attacked. He was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse and violating a restraining order, and a woman was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest.

12:16 a.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Amber Loop reported someone knocked on the door; no one was located.

2:01 a.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Gold Hill Drive reported suspicious activity.

Tuesday

9:33 a.m. — A caller from Idaho-Maryland Road reported the theft of two RV power cords.

12:23 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Perimeter Road reported a theft from a locked vehicle.

1:30 p.m. — A caller from Magnolia School reported a juvenile under the influence, who was cited.

1:55 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Grass Valley Avenue reported illegal dumping.

4:42 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Gautier Drive reported promiscuous shooting.

6:28 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Combie Road reported two men in a vehicle yelling and wrestling around. A man was arrested on a warrant.

6:36 p.m. — A caller from Penn Valley Drive and Spenceville Road reported an unruly man refusing to get off the bus.

7:06 p.m. — A very drunken woman was tripping her lifeline alert over and over. She was confrontational and would not allow a deputy to reset the alert system.

7:35 p.m. — A man from Clover Road reported a hacker was trying to access his computer.

9:45 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Ridge Estates Road reported people walking around a deck and side of a house.

12:02 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Mountain Meadow Court reported a residential structure fire.

Tuesday

4:51 p.m. — A caller from North Pine and Commercial streets reported a man asking people for money.

8:52 p.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported multiple people in an argument becoming physical.

11:54 p.m. — A drunk-sounding man from Nimrod Street reported he had been assaulted, then said he was going to his potential assailant in the head with a brick.

Wednesday

12:17 a.m. — A caller from a business on Railroad Avenue reported a very drunken man accosted a male guest, and when the guest rejected the man’s advances he became irate and threw a beer bottle at a window, breaking it. A report was taken.
