Police blotter: Dog attacks, mail thefts reported

Thursday

8:10 a.m. — A caller from South Auburn and Neal streets reported three people looking into vehicles.



10:25 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Litton Drive reported juveniles trying to break into shipping containers. One is holding a cinder block and is smashing it on the roof. They then left.

10:35 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Clark Street reported a man threw hot coffee at her; she did not need medical attention.




10:58 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Joyce Drive reported the theft of a disabled parking placard.

2:01 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Linden Avenue reported credit card fraud.

2:29 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Main Street reported a fraudulent charge of $220.

3:05 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Plaza Drive reported a man bought drugs from a person in a motorhome.

4:17 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported five women flagging male drivers down and getting in their vehicles, and acting strange.

5:43 p.m. — A caller from Colfax Avenue and Hansen Way reported a vehicle chasing a man on foot who was carrying a propane torch.

6:17 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Olympia Park Road reported a driver under the influence; he was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, driving under the influence, possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, possessing an illegal weapon and driving on a suspended license.

10:34 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Brentwood Drive reported a man and a woman in a physical fight.

10:41 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of East Main Street reported a man and a woman in a physical fight.

3:19 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of East Main Street reported a person stole a red service truck. A BOLO was issued.

6:57 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported two people sleeping in front of a business, who were advised to move on.

8:21 a.m. — A caller from Pioneer Way and Valley Drive reported a dog on dog attack.

8:26 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Alpha Road reported dogs attacked a child.

8:36 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Wolf Drive reported dogs chasing livestock.

9:28 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Highway 49 reported the theft of two microphones and a mike stand.

9:39 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Pioneer Road reported a theft.

9:49 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Dog Bar Road reported a vandalism.

10:33 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Bloomfield-Graniteville Road reported a mail theft with numerous mail boxes cleaned out and left open.

10:51 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Misty Green Court reported a theft.

2 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Brooks Road reported a person locked the gate on private property.

12:09 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Banner Lava Cap Road reported a burglary.

12:37 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported drug activity.

1:26 p.m. — A caller from Nevada Union High School reported a theft.

4:50 p.m. — A caller reported possible human trafficking.

4:53 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported a physical fight involving three men and a woman.

4:56 p.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Sun Terrace Court reported check fraud.

7:07 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Dog Bar Road reported two or three men in a Ford Explorer with a spotlight on the roof, shooting from the vehicle into a pasture.

11:33 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of McCarter Way reported hearing gunshots.

4:45 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Highway 174 reported three people in the bushes next to his driveway.

5:40 a.m. — A caller from the 29000 block of Highway 49 reported four people lurking around a business with flashlights

12:58 p.m. — A caller from Commercial Street reported three men set off a car alarm and started harassing the caller.

2:13 p.m. — A caller from Zion Street reported a small vegetation fire.

4:40 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Orchard Street reported the theft of yard art.
