Police blotter: Diaper emergency prompts 911 call

Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

8:54 a.m. — A caller from West Main Street wanted advice on a troublesome grandson.



11:13 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man with a black Lab tried to get his dog to attack him, and tried to hit him with the dog’s leash.

11:52 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported the theft of items from a locked vehicle.




1:10 p.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported six juveniles drinking and selling drugs; they were gone when officers arrived.

2:34 p.m. — A man from the 400 block of South Auburn Street did not know what his emergency was, other than he needed a diaper. He called back to ask for pants because he wet himself.

3:04 p.m. — A caller from Sierra College reported people have been repeatedly cutting a fence and driving on school property.

5:55 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man stole a bottle of Skyy Blue vodka.

6:42 p.m. — A caller form the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man hiding in the bushes who said he had been beaten up by multiple men.

Wednesday

2:23 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Henderson Street reported a man lying face down in the parking lot. He was cited and released to a parent.

2:53 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a very drunken man refusing to get out of a hot tub.

4:02 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Joershcke Drive reported an attempted break-in with a back door broken.

Tuesday

8:22 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Comerate Road reported a girl was assaulting staff members and then was throwing things. She was cited for battery.

9:38 a.m. — A caller from Sunrise Road requested advice regarding a neighbor renting property out for drug ceremonies.

10:35 a.m. — A caller from the 31000 block of Highway 49 reported a burglary and false imprisonment.

10:53 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Smith Road requested a welfare check on a horse.

3:19 p.m. — A caller from the tax collector’s office reported receiving a fraudulent $20 bill.

7:44 p.m. — A woman from the 14000 block of Highland Drive reported a man kicked and broke a TV, threw a tortoise and threw her against the wall. She did not need medical attention. A be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued.

8:48 p.m. — A woman from Penny Court reported her boyfriend has been harassing her; he said she threw vodka in his eyes.

9:10 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Rockway Place reported a loud explosion.

Tuesday

12:21 p.m. — A caller from South Pine Street reported six people drinking and using drugs; one appeared to be passed out. They were moving on.

5:49 p.m. — A caller from South Pine Street reported people hitting a truck with their fists.

9:08 p.m. — A caller from North Pine Street reported two men taking pills and drinking alcohol at the warming shelter, who needed to be removed.
