Police blotter: Desk thieves reported

Grass Valley Police Department

Friday

7:10 a.m. — A caller from the 1500 block of East Main Street reported a commercial burglary.



7:12 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 800 block of Whispering Pines Lane reported the theft of a propane tank.

10:02 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported trespassers making racial slurs; they left before an officer arrived.




10:42 a.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Pampas Drive reported finding a possible stolen bike.

1:41 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported people in front of the a=store smoking marijuana and causing issues. They could not be located.

2:15 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of North Church Street reported being sent to an address to cut down trees, and it was a scam.

3:23 p.m. — A caller from the hospital reported an ambulance medic was assaulted by a woman in the parking lot.

4:35 p.m. — An online theft report was made from the 600 block of Freeman Lane.

4:41 p.m. — An online theft report was made from the 200 block of Hill Street.

Saturday

6:33 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of East Main Street reported a very deep sinkhole in front of a restaurant.

8:29 p.m. — A caller from the hospital reported a woman punching herself in the head and slamming her head in the car window. She said she was upset but not suicidal, and was released to a friend.

Sunday

9:59 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Freeman Lane reported people stealing from a pile of sand; it had been set out for public use.

10:34 a.m. — A caller reported two runaway juveniles ages 12 and 14; a BOLO was issued.

4:05 p.m. — A caller requested advice regarding a homeless camp.

4:25 p.m. — A caller from North School and Richardson streets reported the theft of a computer and phone.

5:38 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man plugging his electrical devices into a store’s plugs and stealing electricity.

11:38 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Blight Road reported a loud party.

11:31 a.m. — A caller from Spenceville Wildlife Preserve reported a horse down and in the creek.

2:18 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Dog Bar Road reported ongoing theft issues.

3:01 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Golden Eagle Way reported motorcycles on BLM land.

6:07 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Purdon Road reported locating several large garbage bags of butane bottle and other possible drug paraphernalia.

4:13 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Gold Flat Road reported a neighbor doing construction, who was issued a warning.

12:15 p.m. — A woman reported a person borrowed her vehicle a year ago and she had not seen it since.

3:04 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Valley Street reported trespassers, who could not be located.

7:32 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Argall Way reported the theft of a cell phone and wallet.

Sunday

10:48 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Hoover Lane reported two women carrying a school desk; the caller later found three desks hidden in some ivy.
