Police blotter: Caller reports invisible Halo characters attacking his head

Friday

6:52 a.m. — A caller on Sutton Way reported a stolen credit card.



8:16 a.m. — A caller on Freeman Lane reported two windows were smashed and gasoline was stolen. A possible suspect was ID’d by surveillance cameras.

9:56 a.m. — A caller on South Auburn Street reported picking up a telepathic message that her sister was bleeding to death due to a stabbing. No response from alleged victim.




10:14 a.m. — A caller on South Auburn Street reported invisible people from the video game Halo are attacking the caller’s head.

10:29 a.m. — A caller on Eureka Street reported an unwanted male outside her door who has hurt her in the past.

11:28 a.m. — A caller on Joerschke Drive reported she was in a fight with her father over him trying to drive his vehicle after his license was revoked.

1:13 p.m. — A caller on Mill Street reported two men loitering, panhandling and harassing passersby.

2:36 p.m. — A caller on Catherine Lane reported purchasing a mining claim for $800 but it was closed prior to the sale, possibly committing fraud.

7:19 p.m. — A caller on Neal Street reported holding an intoxicated man in the store because she thinks he will be driving.

7:40 p.m. — A caller on Freeman Lane reported a man asking people to buy him shoes, later reported as stealing shoes.

8:38 p.m. — A caller on East Main Street reported hearing a shot fired near Idaho Maryland Road.

8:50 p.m. — A caller on West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter who had been trying to steal a ski mask and gloves running from the store.

9:09 p.m. — A caller on Sutton way reported a man panhandling with a dog in front of a supermarket.

9:12 p.m. — A caller on Freeman Lane reported a man chasing a woman and tackling her in the coffee shop parking lot.

9:32 p.m. — A caller on South Church Street reported a man bedding down by the kitchen and defecating in the area.

4 a.m. — A caller on Grey Avenue reported activity around her home, and the activities have been ongoing.

6:44 a.m. — A caller on Dorsey Drive reported a patient leaving the hospital emergency room against medical advice.

8:42 a.m. — A caller on Sutton Way reported a man poked his head around the corner and startled her while she was using the ATM.

9:44 a.m. — A caller on Northridge Drive reported a motorcycle and bicyle taken from the garage sometime overnight.

10:08 a.m. — A caller on Nevada City Highway reported a man passed out behind a business next to a bicycle.

11:16 a.m. — A caller in Grass Valley requested to speak with an officer about a transient making statements about killing things, thinks he is dangerous, sending texts asking for a phone number of a woman dating his brother.

1:41 p.m. — A caller on Nevada City Highway reported an angry man coming into a medical business, complaining about a billing question. When he got no help due to it being the weekend, the man walked outside and was yelling, bothering staff and patients.

3:23 p.m. — A caller on Sutton Way reported a person lying in the bushes, covered with a blanket, near a business.

5:41 p.m. — A caller on Freeman Lane reported a woman standing near the animal shelter all day with three or four black plastic bags.

6:27 p.m. — A caller on Plaza Drive reported three men sitting in a jeep at a gas station, trying to sell people gas for half price if they use a credit card while at the pump.

6:41 p.m. — A caller on Brighton Street reported an unknown man sleeping on his front porch.

6:53 p.m. — A caller on West Main Street reported a man walking up and down North Church Street taking pictures of a restaurant.

7:22 p.m. — A caller on West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter took an item and left on foot.

7:43 p.m. — A caller on South Church Street reported a man with dreadlocks pulled a gun on him in a dispute over a parking spot.

8:25 p.m. ­— A caller on Highway 49/20 at Dorsey Drive reported glass on the freeway southbound, causing two flat tires.

10:37 p.m. — A caller on Lidster Avenue reported an unknown person inside her home in the basement.

10:54 p.m. — A caller on Brunswick Road reported a man between the bank and a car shop acting strange.

Sunday

12:25 a.m. — A caller on Mill Street reported about 15 men in a large fight outside a bar opposite the Del Oro theatre, one man unconscious on the sidewalk and taken by ambulance to the hospital. Police said later only three people involved in the fight; the rest were bystanders. No update available on the man’s condition.

8:04 a.m. — A caller on Grass Valley Avenue reported a vehicle parked in front of the business for about two weeks.

10:18 a.m. — A man at the sheriff’s office who lives on Old Pond Lane reported his mail was opened.

11:39 a.m. — A caller on Highway 174 reported a fight between herself and her boyfriend, after which he left with their 4-month-old baby.

11:44 a.m. — A caller on Skyland Road reported his girlfriend tried to stab him in the hand.

12:21 p.m. — A caller on Penn Valley Drive reported an elderly man with dementia just walked away from the facility, refusing to come back.

1:10 p.m. — A caller on Idaho Maryland Road reported theft of car stereos from a friend’s house about a week ago.

7:02 p.m. — A caller on Pasquale Road reported a group of 30-year-old men drinking and driving in the area on Friday evenings.

11:58 p.m. — Sheriff’s office provided backup to CHP and Placer County on a pursuit on Highway 49 at Atwood, vehicle traveling 90 mph and more. One of the riders in custody by CHP by 12:15 a.m.

2:32 a.m. — A caller on Little Valley Road reported a neighbor came to her hone and said she was in an argument with her boyfriend and he is saying he will kill her.

5:57 a.m. — A caller on Highway 80 reported a vehicle embezzled from an elderly woman, who was left at a gas station..

9:12 a.m. — A caller on Provenza Court reported her estranged boyfriend was threatening to physically assault her.

8:32 p.m. — A caller on Creek View Drive reported a man who claimed to be out of gas is looking at homes with a flashlight.

Sunday

1:33 a.m. — A caller on Twin Star Lane reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of her mailbox.
