Thursday

9:28 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 800 block of Sutton Way reported finding drug paraphernalia.



11:55 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported an issue with a man trespassing with an unleashed pit bull.

3:36 p.m. — A man from the 1000 block of Whispering Pines Lane reported numerous items had been stolen from a vehicle.




3:59 p.m. — A caller from the 1200 block of Sutton Way reported a possible squatter.

4:02 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 2100 block of Nevada City Highway reported a motorcycle had been purchased with a fraudulent check.

4:19 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Oak Street reported a man trying to break into a vehicle; he was found to have locked himself out.

4:28 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported finding a bike hidden in the bushes; it was collected and a report was taken.

5:42 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Sutton Way reported a shoplifter.

10:45 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Stacey Lane reported a physical fight involving three men. One man was taken to the hospital and the situation was mediated.

5:25 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a man brandishing a knife and refusing to leave.

10:02 a.m. — A caller from River Ranch Road reported a possible break-in of a vacant residence.

10:23 a.m. — A man from Nishinam Gulch Road reported a woman threw his clothes outside.

12:13 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Sun Forest Drive reported a dog chasing and trying to attack people; it could not be located.

12:17 p.m. — A caller from Cook Road and Rough and Ready Highway reported someone dumped a large amount of motor oil on the road.

12:18 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Greenhorn Road reported a dog versus an alpaca.

1:15 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Northview Drive reported a residential burglary.

1:39 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Sierra Drive reported a vehicle off the road into brush.

2:19 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a juvenile assaulted a staff member; the juvenile was cited on suspicion of battery.

3:09 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported the theft of gates.

3:48 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and John Barleycorn Road reported the theft of a license plate from a vehicle broken down on the side of the road.

4:18 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Bitney Springs Road reported the theft of a trailer.

7:52 p.m. — A caller from Juvenile Hall reported a staff member was assaulted by a juvenile, who was booked on assault charges.

9:51 p.m. — A man from the 14000 block of Sugar Loaf Road reported a residential burglary.

1:22 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 400 block of Searls Avenue reported a boy stole a pack of cigarettes and ran from the scene.
