Police blotter: Bloody footprints and angry wives

8:20 a.m. — A caller from Plaza Drive reported a possibly upset person with a knife. No one was located.



9:32 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Minnie Street reported a dumpster fire.

11:05 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Butler Street reported a continuously barking dog; a violation notice was left.




11:30 a.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of West McKnight Way reported a man in a white fedora scaring customers. He was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance.

1:11 p.m. — A woman from the 400 block of West Main Street reported a man throwing her items into the street and destroying her property.

1:17 p.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Presley Way reported the theft of a sign from the road.

2:40 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a shoplifter who might have taken four bracelets.

3 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a shoplifter stole a phone.

3:50 p.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported people had set up tents below the pond.

4:57 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a shoplifter was in custody, who was cited.

6:37 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a transient sleeping behind a business and possibly tampering with electrical boxes.

6:55 p.m. — A caller from Ivy and Alta streets reported parents might be locking their 16-year-old daughter in the house.

8:53 a.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported her boyfriend was hitting her again. She was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

12:14 p.m. — A caller from North Bloomfield Road reported a rock slide in the road.

12:26 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of Lowell Hill Road reported a burglary to a storage container.

1:34 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Capitol Drive reported a person had been bitten by a loose pit bull.

3:51 p.m. — A woman from Manzanita Drive reported a violent crime was going to occur. A second caller reported a woman was refusing to leave.

4:03 p.m. — A caller from Spenceville Road reported a woman just dropped off a large supply of drugs.

4:11 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Lower Colfax Road reported bloody footprints.

4:16 p.m. — A man from Magnolia Road reported his wife threw a brick through his rear windshield.

6:17 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Bar Hill Road reported a man in the middle of the road shouting and swearing and harassing employees. He was advised to leave. At 7:17 p.m., a caller reported he was making threats, grabbing his crotch and flipping the caller off. He was arrested on suspicion of causing a disturbance.

6:58 p.m. — A caller form Loma Rica Drive and Brunswick Road reported the theft of business signs and cameras.

7 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Pioneer Road reported trespassers.

7:09 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported a stolen vehicle.

9 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Timberland Drive reported an assault.
