11:28 a.m. ” A caller from a business on the 800 block of East Main Street reported the theft of condoms the previous night; the deed was caught on tape. Officers took a report for petty theft.
2:23 p.m. ” A caller said an apparent drunken driver was all over the road and could not maintain lanes on Sutton Way. Officers were unable to locate the driver.
2:45 p.m. ” A person in the lobby reported being a possible victim of check fraud. Officers took a report.
4:25 p.m. ” A possible drunken driver was reported on Empire Street. Patrolling officers were advised.
7:46 p.m. ” A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported a possible drunken driver had just left the area. Officers could not locate the driver.
7:47 p.m. ” A traffic stop at the main entrance to the Nevada County Fair on McCourtney Road resulted in a man being arrested on suspicion of having sex with a minor. The man was booked at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
8:01 p.m. ” A caller from the 200 block of West Main Street reported someone pulled a fire alarm there when there was no emergency.
9:22 p.m. ” Juveniles were reported driving up and down Butler Street and screaming. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
11:08 p.m. ” A caller reported a glass door was broken out of a business on Alta Street.
11:37 p.m. ” A caller reported a man following the caller’s group of friends on East Main Street pulled down his pants and exposed his buttocks to them. Responding officers located the man and booked him into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for indecent exposure.
12:50 a.m. ” A caller reported a loud party on the 100 block of Harris Street and said she would call back if she heard it again.
8:48 a.m. ” A caller from a business on the 100 block of Cambridge Court reported a storage unit had been stolen. Officers took a report for petty theft.
9:40 a.m. ” A caller reported a black dog running in and out of traffic on Highway 49. The California Highway Patrol was advised.
10:07 a.m. ” A wallet lost on East Maryland Drive was turned in at the police department. The owner was called and he came to get it.
10:52 a.m. ” A caller requested extra patrol because vehicles were racing in the evening on Butler Street between Minnie and Fawcett streets, blowing through stop signs and making noise.
12:05 p.m. ” A person in the lobby of the police department received information from an officer regarding gang activities.
12:20 p.m. ” A traffic stop on Freeman Lane resulted in a man being cited and released for driving a motorized scooter. The scooter was confiscated.
9:09 a.m. ” A man from the 29000 block of Highway 49 reported a person harassing and yelling obscenities at him.
10:27 a.m. ” A caller from the 25000 block of North Bloomfield-Graniteville Road requested contact with officers regarding thefts of multiple items.
1:10 p.m. ” A caller from the 15000 block of Kingsbury Circle reported the theft of items from the residence.
4:23 p.m. ” A caller from a business on the 10000 block of Combie Road reported an employee’s wallet had been stolen from inside the store and used at the store to buy items by an unknown woman. The store manager identified the woman because the incident was caught on video tape.
5:21 p.m. ” A man from the 10000 block of South Ponderosa Way reported an unknown person rolling boulders onto his property during the day. The man requested extra police patrol.
6:04 p.m. ” Officers arrested a 51-year-old man on the 11000 block of McCourtney Road for being drunk in public and booked him into the Nevada County jail.
7:52 p.m. ” A woman from the 14000 block of Gold Creek Court reported receiving threats from her husband, whom she’s divorcing.
8:16 p.m. ” A man from the 13000 block of Colfax Highway reported the theft of credit cards from his desk.
8:52 p.m. ” A woman from the 14000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported a person who violated a court order by visiting her house when she wasn’t there.
9:58 p.m. ” A caller from the 11000 block of Ironclad Road reported a tenant stealing a puppy.
10:31 p.m. ” A caller from the 11000 block of McCourtney Road reported theft of a Blackberry cell phone at the fair.
1:56 a.m. ” A woman from Engelbright Marina reported that her husband hadn’t come back from the lake. She said she spoke with him last at 9:30 p.m. when his vehicle was blocked by a fire truck. The woman was concerned her husband may have fallen asleep while waiting. She called back later to say her husband had returned.
8:41 a.m. ” A caller from the 100 block of Union Street reported losing a diamond ring in the downtown area.
1:16 p.m. ” A man from the 400 block of Hollow Way reported that his vehicle was stolen from a gas station while he was in the restroom. The vehicle, a four-door, white 1991 Pontiac 6000, was last seen at 11 a.m. A police department issued a be-on-the-lookout alert for the vehicle.
