Grass Valley Police Department
1:39 p.m. – A business on the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported the theft of several signs overnight. Officers took a report for petty theft.
1:44 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Celesta Drive requested medical personnel for a person who was possibly intoxicated.
2:15 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Lucas Lane reported drug sales in the neighborhood.
2:22 p.m. – A caller reported youths yelling profanities at the corner of Park Avenue and South Auburn Street.
4:13 p.m. – A caller from the 600 block of West Main Street reported a battery in the home.
4:37 p.m. – A man in the police station lobby said he was there for a child exchange and the mother was 37 minutes late. He requested her lateness be documented.
5:26 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Berryman Street reported the theft of washer and dryer by maintenance workers. Officers took a report for grand theft.
5:39 p.m. – A man called to report a bunch of men harassing women at a business near the corner of Mill and Bank streets.
5:45 p.m. – A caller reported a driver on the Golden Center Freeway was swerving in an attempt to drive the caller off the road.
6:08 p.m. – A man from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported his Xbox had been stolen and someone was using it to play online. Officers were to follow up.
6:16 p.m. – A person in the police department lobby reported two juveniles on rooftops downtown. Officers were unable to find anyone on the roofs.
6:17 p.m. – A stop sign was reported down at Bennett and Ophir streets.
8:02 p.m. – A caller from the 500 block of Scaddon Drive reported receiving threatening and harassing phone calls from an unknown person.
8:08 p.m. – A caller from a Brunswick Road business reported a drunk driver. Patrolling officers and the CHP were advised.
9:45 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a neighbor had been playing a guitar loudly for two hours. Responding officers told the man to keep it down.
9:49 p.m. – A caller from the 800 block of Old Tunnel Road reported hearing a crash and seeing a vehicle down an embankment across the street. Officers found the vehicle abandoned and had it towed.
11:40 p.m. – A caller from the 400 block of Henderson Street reported intoxicated neighbors being loud and threatening to beat him up. Responding officers told the men to keep it down and stay inside.
12:12 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Leahy Road reported a suspicious person in a neighboring yard was carrying a flashlight. Officers were unable to find the person.
12:49 a.m. – A person in the police department lobby said their dog was missing and they thought a neighbor had something to do with it.
8:40 a.m. -A caller from a Bank Street business requested an officer to deal with a language barrier they were having with a customer. Officers quickly learned the person was looking for a relative, who had been located.
8:56 a.m. – A caller reported a reckless driver on McCourtney Road who had just ran a stop sign near the Nevada County Fairgrounds.

10:02 a.m. – A caller from the 18000 block of Lazy Dog Road reported possible tampering with water pipes.
10:12 a.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Scotts Flat Pines Road reported a tent and belongings at the end of the caller’s property.
2:14 p.m. – A caller from Willow Valley Road reported a vehicle was stolen from a shop.
2:57 p.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Sweethaven Court requested extra patrols at night because of three previous vandalism episodes at a construction site. The area is used as a party spot by local youths on Friday and Saturday nights, the caller said.
4:11 p.m. – A caller from the 600 block of West Main Street reported getting a call from a client who stated her husband was hitting her.
5:49 p.m. – A 911 caller reported road rage.
5:54 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported juveniles who stole beer from a local market.
7:48 p.m. – A caller from the 18000 block of Mobley Springs Road reported a verbal disruption of the peace among five subjects on the corner of the caller’s property. It was unknown whether there were any weapons.
9:52 p.m. – A caller from the 15000 block of Mattson Lane reported hearing banging on the garage door and a door downstairs slam several times.
7:26 a.m. – A woman from the 15000 block of Beeman Lane reported a suspicious man on her property.

2:20 p.m. – A medical call from the 200 block of Broad Street reported a rescue en route to the area for an injured woman.
2:04 a.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a person in the emergency room was a victim of assault and battery at a local bar.
4:31 a.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Coyote Street reported a man outside the post office taking off his shirt outside a car with all the doors open and music blaring.
