Police blotter: Allegedly drunken woman on oxygen admonished

8:58 a.m. — A caller from French Avenue and Jenkins Street reported a downed line in the middle of the road.

2:13 p.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported multiple juveniles smoking marijuana; a person was arrested on unknown charges.

2:33 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported drug activity.

4:24 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Brunswick Road reported a man and a woman fighting in a truck.

5:38 p.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Pleasant Street said she had a medical emergency, needing assistance with her oxygen. A man said she had been drinking and rescue was not needed. At 6:11 p.m., she called again. She denied being drunk but had a blood alcohol count of .154 percent. She declined to be taken to the hospital; her oxygen tank was in good working order. At 6:54 p.m., she called to report that her husband was laughing at her. She was admonished and the phone was moved to the control of the less intoxicated man on scene who agreed to only call 911 in an emergency.

8:23 p.m. — A caller from the 2400 block of Ridge Road reported an explosion and fire.

9:33 p.m. — A caller from Colfax Avenue reported a man in the bushes was making grunting noises. No one was located.


3:47 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported hearing someone at her door with a knife.

5:02 a.m. — A caller from Hennessy School reported hearing screaming; it was a field trip.

9:13 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Venus Court reported a house was broken into last night.

12:53 p.m. — A caller from Branding Iron Way requested advice on catching a loose pet bird.

2:22 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Lazuli Lane reported a dispute possibly becoming physical, with two men fighting about a dog bite. The dispute had been going on for an hour, but was now calming down.

3:07 p.m. — A caller from Scotten School reported a first-grader had assaulted his mother and a staff member and then ran. He was located and taken to the hospital by the mother.

9:16 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Mathis Way reported a physical fight over an eviction. It was mutual combat and charges were not desired.

9:19 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Avern Way reported a man hit an 89-year-old man. He reportedly threw a 14-year-old girl against the wall. He was arrested on suspicion of elder abuse and child endangerment.


5:16 a.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Green Court reported identity theft.

9:48 a.m. — A caller from North Pine Street reported a transient sleeping in the side yard of the library; the person was advised of the camping ordinance.

11:39 a.m. — A caller from Argall Way reported a man and a woman huffing paint.

3:36 p.m. — A caller from Zion Street reported drug activity and possible dealing in a room. No one was located.
