Police Blotter: Agitated man kept out of labor room

Thursday



8:05 a.m. — A caller from the corner of Todd Court and Brighton Street reported seeing an abandoned blue backpack with property in it that looks like the owner just got out of jail.

8:16 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Jenkins Street reported a car parked across the street with a transient sleeping inside, who has left trash everywhere and was urinating in the parking lot earlier in the day.




9:40 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sierra College Drive reported that road rage between two drivers has caused one of the drivers to stalk the other in a grocery store.

10:58 a.m.— A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported a man park a car in front of a doctor’s office, and threw the keys and left on foot toward Empire Mine.

2:49 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a man at his place of business causing a disturbance. The man ran up to the bus stop where he was arrested.

3:01 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Empire Street reported to police, and turned in hypodermic needles they found.

4:04 p.m. — A caller from the corner of Ridge Road and Sierra College Drive reported that a street light isn’t cycling and that it has been a continual issue.

4:05 p.m. — A man from an unknown location called and gave his first name, then hung up.

5:31 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported a man in a building refusing to leave.

5:44 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of French Avenue reported they believe someone entered their home and pulled their pipes apart while they were on vacation.

8:47 p.m. — A man from the 100 block of Glasson Way reported that he was being kept out of the delivery labor room because they said he seemed agitated.

8:59 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported a group of young people in a motel parking lot drinking, with an infant and toddler with them that have been screaming and crying for half an hour.

9:35 p.m. — A man from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a group of people shoplifting in his business.

10:21 p.m. — A woman from the 800 block of Old Tunnel Road reported that a man left her residence and stole her purse.

Friday

2:01 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported transients sleeping in a building this morning before the janitor came in.

2:26 a.m. — A caller from the corner of East Main and Eureka streets reported a man headed up the street toward the roundabout yelling and screaming to himself.

1:27 a.m. — A caller from the corner of Highway 49 and Coyote Street reported a shirtless man waving his shirt at passers by.

8:48 a.m. — A woman from the Gold Flat Road and Highway 49 reported something from the construction site on the freeway broke her car window.

12:33 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported a dog locked in a car.

5:21 p.m. — A caller from the corner of Zion Street and Providence Mine Road reported a car crashed into a rock wall.

11:14 p.m. — A woman from the 500 block of West Broad Street reported that her dog has been missing.

11:30 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Nimrod Street reported two transient camps past the horseshoe pit area at Pioneer Park.
