Police Blotter: Adults smoking pot in front of young children

Friday

11:19 a.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported a man sitting in a silver Jeep smoking marijuana.



11:56 a.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Hidden Valley Road reported a trailer’s locks were broken, and items may have been removed.

2:38 p.m. – A caller from the downtown area of North San Juan said people placed a couch in front of his business and used it to drink alcohol and party.




3:34 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Lilac Court reported that a neighbor who is out of town was having items systematically removed from the house. The caller suspected an ex-boyfriend.

4:52 p.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Rainbow Road reported a male casing her house. When confronted, the man asked her about a wooden structure on her lawn and left.

6:39 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Cole Way reported a neighbor threatened to kill the caller’s dog.

Saturday

10:48 a.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Ridge Road reported money was taken from his residence. The caller said he suspects construction workers who were working on his house.

11:12 a.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Highway 49 reported a missing rifle.

11:28 a.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Gas Canyon Road reported a man walking up the street, behaving abnormally while claiming he was “high on meth.”

12:19 p.m. – A caller from the 20000 block of Bear Trap Springs Road complained that a neighbor’s cattle keep wandering onto his property.

4:36 p.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of John Muir Lane reported her boyfriend entered her house while she was away and broke items.

4:42 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Mooney Flat Road reported someone broke into the caller’s business and stole a video projector. The caller possesses video evidence and confronted the thief. The thief promised to bring it back but hasn’t yet.

6:03 p.m. – A caller from McCourtney Road reported an adult providing alcohol to a 16-year-old child and smoking marijuana in front of young children.
