A 60-year-old San Juan Ridge woman was found in heavy brush 300 yards from her Oak Tree Road home at 4:48 a.m. She had been reported missing at 10:10 p.m., prompting a search by Search and Rescue Inc. and a California Highway Patrol helicopter, Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Hughes said.

The woman threatened suicide after taking alcohol and pills, and she was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for evaluation, Hughes said.
