Grass Valley Police Department

Thursday

• At 7:25 p.m. a caller reported that someone had stolen matches, cupcake holders, laundry soap, and Kool-Aid from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive.



Friday

• A caller reported at 1:12 a.m. that a man wearing a blue polo shirt and jeans was hitting golf balls down the road near the intersection of Ophir and Bennett streets.

Sheriff’s Department

Thursday

• At 5:35 p.m., a caller reported that the caller’s neighbors were shooting fireworks on Narrow Gauge Road near Colfax Highway.

Friday

• At 10:04 a.m., a caller reported that a dog that had previously attacked a neighbor tried to attack again and the neighbor shot the animal on the 13100 block of Squirrel Creek Road.

• A man reported at 10:59 a.m. that someone had stolen golf clubs from the back of a golf cart parked in the parking lot on the 11300 block of Pleasant Valley Road. He called back later to say he had removed the golf clubs himself.
