— A resident on the 20000 block of Cruzon Grade Road on San Juan Ridge reported at 11:21 a.m. that medicinal marijuana and a generator were stolen from her property while she was in jail.

— A resident on Banner Quaker Hill Road reported at 8:17 a.m. that her ATM card was stolen in Mexico.

— A juvenile at Nevada Union High School was cited at 9 a.m. with possession of a knife on campus.


— Darryl W. Skelton, 34, of Grass Valley was arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine possession for sale, meth possession and resisting arrest. He was booked on $10,750 bail into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.

His arrest occurred during a parole search at his home near Hughes and Ridge roads, where he was caught in a foot chase and found with meth, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Jeff Glover.

— A juvenile at Nevada Union High School was cited with possession of marijuana and an illegal knife at 1:40 p.m.


A woman’s purse was stolen from the Lake Wildwood lodge while she attended a meeting there, it was reported at 8:25 a.m.
