— An Alta Sierra resident on the 10000 block of Lower Circle Drive reported at 9:10 a.m. that a caller sought donations for a charity the resident supposedly helped before. When the resident declined, the caller threatened to bring over disabled children the resident would have to take care of, requiring the resident to clean “that pig sty she calls home.”

— Gunshot damage to numerous mailboxes on North Bloomfield Road and adjacent streets was reported by a Nevada City post office worker.




Thursday

Marijuana was found in a restroom at The Breakfast Club, 12072 Nevada City Highway, a caller reported at 4:37 p.m.
