— Alan D. Abgarian, 37, of Auburn and Ronald R. Carman, 57, of Grass Valley were each arrested on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine at a south county home near Brewer and Wolf Creek roads. Carman was also arrested for suspected meth possession, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and paraphernalia possession. Both were booked into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility, with Abgarian’s bail $50,000 and Carman’s $51,000.

Narcotics agents arrested the pair after searching the home of a probationer who wasn’t home, according to Lt. David Baxley. The search turned up meth ingredients and equipment, and evidence that the illegal drug had been made, Baxley said.

— A juvenile at Nevada Union High School was arrested at 7:37 a.m. on suspicion of marijuana possession and possession of a knife. Another juvenile was cited at 9:02 a.m. for possession of brass knuckles.
