11:18 a.m. – A caller from the 700 block of South Auburn reported a man on a Suzuki motorcycle pushed a woman into the street before heading to Kmart. Police contacted the man and woman and took a report.

1:21 p.m. – A caller from Elisabeth Daniels Park reported a woman with a gun in the back of her pants. She was arrested on suspicion of burglary.




4:01 p.m. – A woman from the 100 block of Brentwood reported a man who was possibly camping in the woods after being kicked off the property a week earlier. She requested extra patrols.

5:39 p.m. – A caller from Northridge Drive reported a tall man wearing neon green shoes was forcefully soliciting magazines. He was escorted to his ride.

6:09 p.m. – A caller from Lidster Avenue reported two men in a Dodge truck were causing a disturbance by using a P.A. system and an air horn. Police were unable to locate the truck.

7:07 p.m. – A caller from Success Mine Loop reported heavy smoke coming from the back deck of a home. The call was forwarded to Calfire.

8:11 p.m. – A caller reported possible vandalism as two young men were kicking the money box at the tennis courts on Race Street. Police found the money machine that turned the tennis court lights on was broken. The men went to other courts.

8:49 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported a loose Chihuahua and a white dog running through the area and nearly getting hit by cars. They were herded out of the roadway.

9:09 p.m. – A caller from Dorsey Drive reported a group of teenagers were throwing water balloons at passing cars. Police were unable to locate the teens.

9:24 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Winchester reported his ex-wife just sprayed his car with pepper spray and hit it with her Thunderbird. A woman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, and a man was arrested on suspicion of domestic abuse.

3:42 a.m. – A caller from East Main Street reported a man who used obscene gestures and tried to jump in front of the caller’s moving car. Police were unable to locate the man.

Saturday

11:34 a.m. – A caller from a fast food restaurant on Nevada City Highway reported transients were hanging out and intimidating patrons. They were told to move along.

1:50 p.m. – A caller reported an angry hitchhiker on Highway 20 at Bennett Street. He was jumping in and out of traffic and flipping off people who didn’t pick him up. He was gone when police arrived.

2:54 p.m. – A caller reported a large garage sale on Alta Street was causing a traffic hazard because so many cars were parked in the roadway.

3:38 p.m. – A caller reported a man lying on the curb near a business in the Fowler Center. He was sent to the emergency room and cited on suspicion of public intoxication.

4:28 p.m. – A caller from the 400 block of Brighton reported her roommate has possibly overdosed on Benadryl.

5:46 p.m. – A small boy came into the police department lobby to report his mom couldn’t get her other son to get out of the car. Police assisted her.

9:36 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a 12-year-old girl went missing after selling cookies door-to-door. She was found at the Round Table Pizza and was fine.

11:40 p.m. – A caller from the 400 block of Cherry Lane reported a group of teenagers carrying something and suspiciously ducking into the shadows. Police were unable to locate the teens.

6:56 a.m. – A caller near the Salvation Army reported people sleeping on a mattress and pieces of cardboard.

8:39 a.m. – A caller from Red Dog and Cedar Springs Road reported two men in an old red truck with a camper shell watching children at a bus stop. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

9:54 a.m. – A caller reported finding the remains of a black cow on South Ponderosa Way at Deadman’s Flat Road. The cow appeared to have been butchered.

10:17 a.m. – A caller from the 16000 block of Indian Springs Ranch Road reported theft of a stove and dishwasher from his house. The items had been repossessed by the bank.

12:13 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Brunswick Road reported someone had filled all the locks on his business with glue.

12:33 p.m. – A caller from the 20000 block of New Rome Road reported a tandem bicycle had been stolen from the front yard.

3:44 p.m. – Several callers reported a truck rollover at McCourtney Road near Wolf Mountain Road.

3:51 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Lime Kiln Road reported a suspicious vehicle at the bus stop, possibly watching children. The vehicle was a sky blue van with panels and a faded mural on the side. It was carrying bicycles in the back.

5:08 p.m. – A caller from the 27000 block of North Bloomfield-Graniteville Road reported an e-mail from a friend who said her boyfriend had kicked her out. She was living in a barn.

8:41 p.m. – A caller reported a car hit a buck on the 11000 block of Rough and Ready Highway, but nobody was injured.

8:21 a.m. – A woman from Ramey Ranch Road at Meadow Drive reported her neighbor was outside yelling after the neighbor’s dogs had gotten loose and chased the caller’s son.

12:38 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Country Heights Drive reported community mailboxes had been vandalized.

1:21 p.m.. – A caller from Sleepy Hollow reported her “no trespassing” signs were stolen.

3:49 p.m. – A caller from Western Gateway Park reported a man had brandished a knife after an argument over disc golf.

9:57 p.m. – A caller from a church at Brighton Street and Packard Drive reported possible burglary.

10:09 p.m. – A caller reported four people trespassing and making a lot of noise at the second hole of the Alta Sierra golf course. Deputies were unable to locate the alleged trespassers.

11:09 p.m. – A woman from the 15000 block of Carrie Drive reported two juveniles tried to pull up a golf course bench and put it into her hot tub. Deputies determined there was no burglary. Extra patrol was requested.

Sunday

3:27 a.m. – A caller from the 24000 block of Green Valley Road reported a laptop was stolen from a home.

7:03 a.m. – A caller from the 23000 block of St. Helena Drive reported a cable to a security camera was cut.

7:32 a.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported an old, blind, lame dog was in the yard. The dog was taken to the animal shelter.

9:10 p.m. – A caller reported a medical emergency on the Highway 49 onramp at Broad Street.

Saturday

11:53 a.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported two dogs loose downtown. One was located and the other was at the farmer’s market.

6:10 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported a man wearing camouflage was ducking behind vehicles and acting suspicious.

7:40 p.m. – A caller reported a fire on the 100 block of Orchard Street. Calfire was notified.
