• At 1:26 p.m., a person reported a burglary to a vehicle in the town of Washington.

Wednesday



• At 9:32 a.m., deputies arrested a 22-year-old man for failing to register as a sex offender after a felony conviction.

• At 10:19 a.m., a caller reported two horses were walking down Dog Bar Road and it was unknown where they came from.

Tuesday

• At 1:05 p.m., a man called from the 200 block of East Main Street to report his wife was out of control and tried to assault him with a screwdriver. Police arrived and were unable to locate the couple.

• At 3:50 p.m., police arrested a 32-year-old man on the 300 block of North Church Street for battery against a spouse/cohabitant.

• At 7:11 p.m., a caller from the 300 block of Clark Street reported two tires on a Honda Accord were slashed.

• At 7:29 p.m., a caller from a tire shop reported the theft of tires and rims. Police took a report for grand theft.

• At 8:16 p.m., a caller from the 400 block of Mill Street reported tenants moved but had not yet returned keys, and someone was inside the residence. Police checked the residence and arrested a 52-year-old man for trespassing.
