Grass Valley Police Department

Saturday

12:44 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of McKnight Way reported a subject with seizures. Emergency medical personnel responded and handled the situation.



2:02 p.m. – A caller reported a Jeep down an embankment on Highway 20 just west of Brighton Street. Arriving officers found the vehicle had already left the scene.

2:44 p.m. – A caller reported an assault on a female and a suspect wearing jeans and no shirt running on Sierra Drive near Vista Avenue. Responding officers were unable to locate any suspect.




2:58 p.m. – A business on the 1200 block of East Main Street reported a large tent was stolen from in front of the firm overnight. A report was taken for petty theft.

3:08 p.m. – A fire was reported on South Auburn Street near the downtown business district that was quickly put out.

4:36 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Church Street reported a Red Honda Prelude had just struck her fence and was driven away. Officers took a report for hit and run.

4:49 p.m. – A man walked into the police department lobby and said he was assaulted by a man named Tommy on the 300 block of Pleasant Street. A report was taken for battery.

5:44 p.m. – A caller from the 12400 block of Nevada City Highway reported his grandson was out of control again and the phone was disconnected. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office responded and the grandson was gone. Officers then put out a lookout for the grandson on suspicion of injuring a cohabitant.

8:20 p.m. – A business on the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a petty theft and was reviewing tapes of the incident.

Sunday

2:04 a.m. – A woman was arrested on the 9n 00 block of West Main Street for suspicion of driving under the influence and booked into the county jail.

3:13 a.m. – A man was pulled over on Freeman Lane for suspicion of driving under the influence and booked into the county jail.

2:47 p.m. – An alleged drunk driver was reportedly all over the road on the Golden Center Freeway in a blue Toyota pickup truck. The information was sent to the California Highway Patrol.

8:38 p.m. – A Nissan truck was driven into a building on the 100 block of South Church Street. The vehicle was towed away.

9:38 p.m. . – A traffic stop at Penstock Drive and Pelton Way resulted in a woman being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and she was booked at the county jail.

11:52 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a woman was yelling out her window and causing a disturbance.

Monday

7:08 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported someone threw concrete at their vehicle overnight. A report was taken for vandalism.

7:30 a.m. – A caller from the 11400 block of East Bennett Street reported a bear in the yard. The information was given to the state Fish and Game Department.

8:41 a.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported that someone threw a rock at her home the previous evening. A report was taken for vandalism.

10:04 a.m. – A caller from Highway 49 at Wolf Road reported a female apparently beaten up on the side of the highway. The call was turned over to the California Highway Patrol.

10:15 a.m. – A caller from Vista Avenue reported a man was standing in his front yard and yelling. Responding officers found it was a man singing badly along with his iPod.

12:33 p.m. – A caller from the 10100 block of Westhill Road reported his neighbor was on the caller’s side of the fence in alleged violation of a court order.

1:12 p.m. – A caller from the 18700 block of West Starduster Drive reported an ex-tenant tried to injure her by pulling a metal yard shed down while she was inside of it. A report for a case was taken by deputies.

1:57 p.m. – A caller from the 17800 block of Caruso Court reported the theft of money from her purse.

6:38 p.m. – A caller from the emergency room at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital reported a patient who had been shot, possibly with a BB gun. Deputies took a report.

7:17 p.m. – A caller from the 18300 block of Cruzon Grade Road reported he was assaulted by his girlfriend’s father.

n 9:02 p.m.- A caller from the 27600 block of Blue Sage Way reported his wife had fainted and she needed medical attention.

n 9:55 p.m. – A caller from Rough and Ready Highway reported her ex-boyfriend was enroute to a blue house down the street.

10:25 p.m. – A woman reported her boyfriend had assaulted her on the 10700 block of Alta Street. Deputies took information for a case.

Monday

12:08 a.m. – An off-duty Placer County Sheriff’s Officer had restrained a naked male on the 14100 block of Pepperwood Drive at Lake Wildwood. Deputies responded and filed a case against the man.

12:29 a.m. – A caller from the 18900 block of Gopher Lane reported items stolen from their house.

3:48 a.m. – A caller from the 12500 block of Lakeshore North reported an assault.

n 5:26 a.m. to 6:43 a.m. – Callers reported small fires on Pau Hana Way, Buck Ridge Road, Siesta Drive and Nimbus Dam Road.

7:20 p.m. – A woman on the 400 block of Uren Street reported she came home to find a large pile of tires dumped in her yard.

7:32 p.m. – A caller from Commercial Street reported seeing a juvenile who is listed as a runaway.
