Police blotter 06/13/08
Grass Valley Police Department
9:46 a.m. – A caller reported a man and a woman drinking in a pickup truck behind a Brunswick Road business. Responding officers found the subjects had left the area.
10:39 a.m. – A person walked into the department to report a vehicle had struck his vehicle on Sutton Way. The person who hit his vehicle said they would pull over to exchange information but fled the scene. The reporting party got the vehicle license number of the fleeing vehicle but it wasn’t on file. Officers took a report for investigation.
10:46 p.m. – A non-injury accident was reported on East Main Street between a Honda and a Jaguar.
11:17 a.m. – A person came into the department to report a fraud to her bank account.
11:44 a.m. – A 911 caller reported her vehicle was sideswiped by a pickup truck in a parking lot of a business on Brunswick Road. The reporting party got a license plate number and officers will investigate.
6:40 p.m. – A caller from Mass Hill Road reported hearing a gunshot. Responding officers were unable to locate anyone in the area with a gun.
8:55 p.m. – A 21-year-old woman was pulled over at South Auburn Street and Winchester Way. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
11:29 p.m. – A 27-year-old man was pulled over on Idaho-Maryland Road at the onramp to the Golden Center Freeway. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended or revoked license. He was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
2:48 a.m – A caller from Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital reported a vehicle pulled up to the emergency room with an intoxicated person in the rear seat. The driver apparently was attempting to drop the person off when he began kicking the windows out of the vehicle. The driver sped off with the intoxicated man and responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
6:08 a.m. – A caller from the Morgan Ranch subdivision reported someone had egged vehicles and property in the neighborhood.
9:08 a.m. – A caller from a church on the 1800 block of Ridge Road reported finding drugs behind the building. Responding officers took a report.

8:43 a.m. – A woman called from the 15000 block of Black Bear Lane to report the theft of her medicinal marijuana plants.
6:54 p.m. – A caller from the intersection of Highway 20 and Harmony Ridge reported a vehicle accident with a motorcyclist on the roadway.
7:28 p.m. – A man called from the 10000 block of Broken Oak Court to report that his vehicle was vandalized the night before.
9:13 p.m. – Officers arrested a 48-year-old man at the intersection of Lasso Loop and Horton Street on the suspicion of violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence. The man was booked into Nevada County jail.
3:01 a.m. – A caller from the 17000 block of Penny Court reported being assaulted by his girlfriend’s friend.
