Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Tuesday

8:43 a.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Red Dog Road reported his mailboxes had been vandalized.



9:05 p.m. – Officers arrested a 24-year-old man in the 16000 block of Penn Valley Drive on two local warrants and suspicion of driving with a suspended license. He was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.

9:26 p.m. – A man called from Penn Valley to report that a 12-year-old juvenile from his neighborhood had threatened his 8-year-old son by showing him a toy gun and saying it was real.




11:40 p.m. – Officers arrested a 57-year-old man at the intersection of Highway 20 and Pleasant Valley Road on suspicion of drunk driving. He was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.

Nevada City Police Department

Tuesday

4:10 p.m. – A man called from the 400 block of Nimrod Street to report his vehicle was vandalized while he was at work.

Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

2:10 p.m. – Two juveniles were taken into custody on suspicion of shoplifting at a store on the 600 block of Freeman Lane.

7:10 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Dorsey Drive reported a medication theft.
