Grass Valley Police Department

Sunday

2:14 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported a man and woman arguing in a vehicle with three children in it. The couple drove away on the Golden Center Freeway before officers could respond.



5:14 p.m. – A caller from a business on the 100 block of Neal Street reported a customer threatened her life. The customer was removed by workers and responding officers warned him to not return or he would face trespassing charges.

7:11 p.m. – A Church Street caller in a wheelchair reported being chased by five subjects and a large dog who were all screaming for her to stay home. Responding officers determined it was simply an argument.




7:44 p.m. – A caller from Brunswick Road and Sutton Way reported a red Cadillac all over the roadway. Responding officers discovered the driver was a 38-year-old Grass Valley woman, who was booked at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on suspicion of driving under the influence. Her vehicle was also towed.

11:22 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Empire Street reported obscene and threatening messages coming from a certain phone number, but he was unable to recontact the caller at that number.

11:43 p.m. – A caller from Church Street reported hearing a gunshot.

1:11 p.m. – A caller from LaBarr Meadows reported a Lazy Boy in the roadway.

1:13 p.m. – A woman from Little Deer Drive reported her daughter was receiving threats.

1:40 p.m. – A man from 10000 block of Cement Hill Road reported vandalism to a mailbox and offered to preserve forensic evidence if needed.

5:37 p.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Alexander Street reported a fight. Officers told a man at the address to leave and not return or he would be arrested for trespassing.

6:09 p.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Bosa Drive reported someone had scratched the words, “shut your dog up” across the top of the caller’s boat.

6:43 p.m. – A caller from Jones Bar Road reported a broken window and numerous items taken.

7:48 p.m. – A caller from the 16000 block of Pasquale Road reported a man poured a liquid on the ground and attempted to light it.

8:37 p.m. – Someone flagged down an officer on Packard Drive reporting a man was chasing a domestic violence victim down the road.

8:53 p.m. – A caller from Washington Street overpass reported juveniles dropping caution cones on cars below.

9:46 p.m. – A caller from Greenhorn Road reported a four-wheel drive truck that was perched on the side of a cliff.

10:05 p.m. A caller from the 17000 block of Clover Road reported hearing an explosion coming from the direction of Penn Valley Drive.

10:12 p.m. – A woman from Clark Street reported a neighbor threatened her daughter.

10:32 p.m. – A caller from the 17000 block of Clover Road reported hearing another explosion that sounds like M-80s. Another caller reported seeing a flash.

11:36 p.m. – A caller from the 20000 block of White Oak Drive reported two generators were taken from a residence.

Monday

6:35 a.m. – A man from the 10000 block of Cedar Song Road reported his neighbor spit in his face so he threw his tack hammer at him.
