Grass Valley Police Department

Monday

10:50 a.m. – A caller from a business on the 500 block of Freeman Lane reported a mail box had been vandalized. A report was taken for vandalism.



12:25 p.m. – A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street reported that a man with a warrant was staying at the address the caller was calling from. Officers booked the 38-year-old man on a local warrant.

7:25 p.m. – Officers arrested a 51-year-old man on the 500 block of Glenwood Avenue on a warrant and booked him into the Nevada County jail.




7:43 p.m. – A woman called from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive to report that the maintenance man of her apartment was drinking by the pool and harassing her children.

10:39 p.m. – A caller from a business on the 600 block of Sutton Way reported two juveniles who were drinking and driving. Officers contacted the juveniles and cited and released them for reckless driving.

10:46 p.m. – Officers cited and released a 29-year-old man at a business on the 800 block of Sutton Way on suspicion of violating a domestic violence restraining order.

Tuesday

2:23 a.m. – Officers arrested a 20-year-old man on East Empire Street on suspicion of being under the influence of narcotics.

3:19 a.m. Ð A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a loud party. Officers contacted the people concerned and advised them to keep the noise down.

5:56 a.m. – Officers arrested a man at the parking lot of a business on the 800 block of

Sutton Way on a local warrant and booked him into Nevada County jail.

Monday

8:08 a.m. – A caller from 15000 block of Highway 49 reported vandalism.

8:50 a.m. – A woman from the 10000 block of Broken Oak Court requested contact after another juvenile made threats to her son.

9:15 a.m. – A caller from Commercial Street reported a dog locked in a vehicle.

9:18 a.m. – A “Be on the Lookout” was issued for a vehicle believed to be stolen that

was used in a burglary of an ATM in Auburn.

10:44 a.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported a theft.

12:01 p.m. – A housecleaner from the 11000 block of Via Vista reported that she was in a fight with the other tenants.

3:27 p.m. – A caller from Highway 20 reported a broken down vehicle on the side of the highway with two elderly men outside. One of the men may have fallen down.

4:38 p.m. – A woman from Highway 49 reported her son was threatened at a bus stop.

6:11 p.m. – A caller from 29000 block of Graniteville Road reported trespassers.

6:34 p.m. – An off-duty CHP officer reported domestic violence at the corner of Round

Valley Road and Highway 49.

7:46 p.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported an elderly woman with possible dementia stole mail from a mailbox.

7:58 p.m. – A caller from the corner of Combie Road and Highway 49 reported a possible drunk driver after seeing the driver of an old blue and green Chevy pickup truck drinking 24 ounce cans of Coors Light while driving.
